Your "If I knew then what I know now" for Velious Prep

Goal: Throw out some knowledge to the noobs that want to prep for Velious release.

I know it is still many months, many hours spent leveling, many hours wasted at camps, and many 7-day targets away.

What are the most sought-after Velious camps, what are the currently expensive items (10k+ plat) you opt-out of in Kunark knowing their easy-to-obtain upgrades that are released with Velious. What should we expect in terms of resale of CoS/other legacy items. What are the other legacy items to collect?

Get them Beads early.

Seaworthy Planks are worth the search.

Alliance Clicky is worth farming early.

Have fun on Green when Velious drops.

Depending on when you hit it, the Circlet of Shadow can be a 4-hour-or-less camp sometimes. I've walked out of there in 2 hours once. Early AM and the list is usually down to 1 or 2.

Save your dkp on velious launch, early items will be expensive, but velious is going to be around for a loooong time.
