Read a book. Play an instrument. Climb that hill to health and wellness. If you factor in sleep you shouldn't have enough time to ponder over video games.

The only advantage to playing on Green is being able to play classes like Rogue, who even with insane twink gear... really can't solo. I actually just logged off of Blue and saw a level 40 Rogue with his epic, and BIS pretty much everything waiting on his level 60 Cleric to show up and PL him because he couldn't solo the mobs I'm solo'ing as a non-twink with ease.

Prior to playing on P99 non-instanced content sounded really cool, but the merit is lost by the rules that are in place to protect toxic players.

You really think 20 years ago that an entire server is just going to cede their right to access camps in Lower Guk because one guild decided that they wanted to AFK camp the item indefinitely?

Not only does the current system literally encourage this type of toxic behavior, it also discourages people from grouping with one another. Right now I consider Wizard a joke class. 20 years ago we invited them to the group because we knew no one was KS'ing you if you had one.

It's like IDK. I really think if they made a P99 server with no rules (similar to red), but also PVP-disabled, that it would be the closest thing this game could be to real classic.

I strongly doubt very many Rogues is solo'ing Spectres to level 54 fam. Legit quit doing them at level 45 because it was too slow. I have serious doubts about them being able to solo Hill Giants too unless you're talking about running to EC tunnel for heals and raid buffs in between every pull.

Rogues are even easier to level because every group always has room for a Rogue, really. Most groups already have a Cleric, which means there's no room for another. Most groups will stack any class or non-cleric healer as long as there is room.

I remember being friends with all the Clerics on green and them being LFG for 12 hours at a time. I was smart and woke up at like 3AM, joined a group and refused to leave for like 15 hours because I knew it would be impossible to get back in as anything other than DPS.

the problem isnt the servers it's that people are frozen in the meta of war/clr/ench really that plagues every server everywhere, even TAKP because everyones just like 'roll a chanter box m8

and i don't hate chyanters, but their charm really should be restricted to humanoid flagged npcs and should break about 50% more often and more catestrophically without a grp to back them up they should not want to use charm

FAM, you do realize that rogue fear is extremely rare and unreliable, right?

And yeah, Clerics can solo really easy on a dead server where the camps aren't open, but good luck on Green, where everything that a Cleric can solo is literally perma camped.. Im kind of speaking from experience (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=382168) since I have max level cleric on green and blue, and the experiences was night and day... like imagine trying to solo to 40 in Unrest on Green when every mob is camped.. now granted you dont have to do this, you can literally just join a group in CT and go from 30-45 in a single day thanks to broken ZEM.

ALso the idea that Strength is a useless stat because Shamans have buffs originated with the Primal Weapons...

more likely ur in the x3 or x4 bracket no matter what u do unless u get buffed

that shaman buff is the only way ur gonna get x5

Actually I tried to test that theory, and the GMs won't allow it, depending on which guild are you in.

GM told me that there's nothing they can do about the guy camping Hag Tower levitating over to the other deck and stealing mobs from the Fireplace group because it was an outdoor zone. So I logged on a level 50 Shaman and decided I would go up to Hag Tower and camp one of the guys hags since it's an outdoor zone. Nah, suddenly the rules change.

This is like the regular theme of P99 and why I quit. Desperately hoping for a new TLP soon.
