It doesn't refresh all the spell gems correctly still.

OP speaks truth (well, except the banned part).

To me this is the same as non Paladins using Ghoulbane, or charm being incredibly overpowered here: anyone who played in classic knows this shit ain't classic.

Verant eventually patched it out. But it was definitely a thing.

Also the minimum cast time gap was a thing: your second spell would not be successful if it would land before 1.5s (?) had elapsed since your last one landed.

*soulfire.

the GCD cooldown reset glitch is to casters as battle bandage was to melee. Exploit which wouldn't be tolerated under the eyes of live staff. Throw it out.

Wheres your proof? From June 1999 till 12 years after that or thereabouts when i stopped playing Tstaff, Jboots, Eye of Stars, etc.. were always used as a GCD reset.

I don't doubt it was in the game back in the day. I'm saying it is exploiting a bug and should therefore be removed.

Mobs were reliably charmed to tank and kill AoW in Velious. You play a torpor shaman usually? Enjoy it.

The spell gem refresh isn't as powerful here as it was on live. It instantly refreshed all gems including any spell you just cast (unless it had a long cd)

Honestly, the way it is here is a good compromise between 'this is the way it worked' and 'this is something which wasn't used pervasively in classic, is an exploit, so shouldn't really be facilitated'.

Removing it would negatively effect every player, as this is a MMO, so even pure melee rely on cooperation with spell casters, but I'd respect the staffs' decision whether they decide to keep it as is, remove (was exploit) or implement fully (was classic).

They should also ban anyone who views the EC tunnel on twitch or discord, and sue who ever is responsible for the P99 wiki page. Cheat sheets and maps aren’t classic.

1. Shrink yourself as small as possible (some races it's once, others it's twice)
2. Face a wall flat and tight
3. Summon an eye of zomm
4. Invite people at zone in to your group
5. CoTH people to the raid target.
6. (optional) leave 1 person at zone in with group leader to invite people to CoTH

classic exploit

Back in the day mage bolt spells could hit a target twice if they went up a slope.

Eyes of Zomm summoned in walls used to warp to a random place in the zone, not the zone in. So that's actually a bug.

Let's get it fixed on p99 >:-D

Raid guilds may send us death threats though. :(

How about summoned pets while shrunk facing a wall. Were those also randomly placed in the zone?
