#1 p99 Dungeon megathread

I'm curious to see what people have as their #1, and this might influence GMs for the ZEM *who knows* (Gobnil and Brogean, praise be upon their names, are watching!)

I voted for :

City of Mist : Best atmosphere, hidden in a dangerous forest (porting in at the time to EJ was scary)

Cryal Caverns : Best leve design, the feeling of going down, all those shiny gems, and those rumors of that filthy spider queen (that dropped a super good looking robe). Great memories

Velketor's Labyrinth : the idea of a dungeon articulated around icy platforms, where moving around was dangerous, and well, the pit that if you fell would make you instantly die and go through a painful CR. It's unforgiving, and just in honor of the devs behind this idea, It had to get featuerd on my top dungeons list !

Voted velks because I have fond memories of going there during live. In reality, my favorite is probably Sebilis for all the time I spent there playing p1999. KC is not on there, but I consider that a dungeon as well.

That zone is amazing, you can spend 36-60 there comfortably while collecting valuble loot.

Now that I think about it, it IS the #1 dungeon in EQ, dammit!

Blue PNP-exempt Veeshan's Peak was the most fun I had on P99.

Guk: Froglok dual faction dungeon fun.
Sebilis: Froglok World with loots and frogloks, bit less roam around all crazy friendly the way Guk was with IVU/Invis.
Crystal Caverns: Awesome design and love the dwarf town music(othmir beach theme). Spiraling down the crystals and just felt more like going through a weird platform level.

Voted TOFS but real answer is Qeynos Aqueducts. So much scope for story telling and it gives Qeynos a feel of such depth.

For pure nostalgia and the coolness of a dungeon within a dungeon, I'd put Guk #1.

I agree with OP (rare event) on CoM. Plus it was enchanter heaven, and soloing my way to the final platform for the epic piece was very satisfying.

Sebilis was the nostalgic endgame of Kunark and so gets honorable mention.

HS was the hidden gem of Kunark dungeons, and one of the few places I legitimately felt fear due to the danger of dying. The kind of place I never went into without a charged WC cap.

Sebilis is best, Kurns Tower and Crystal Caverns are both great lower level dungeons.

I'm here repping Crystal Caverns. It is so incredible! The lore of the Dwarven town + music + layout is top notch. One of my favorite all time zones in Norrath.
