My professor told us about a patient who heard about garlic lowering blood pressure. He had a father who died from a stroke, so he ate a few cloves every day. Garlic makes you smell like shit, so his wife made him stop. Pretty soon after, he had a stroke and ended up in the hospital. So, he started eating his garlic again. You could smell the garlic coming out of his room from the hallway.
