No. Let me explain why...
Buffs are a part of the game design. In fantasy lore and such it’s a common thing to read about more powerful wizards and knights blessing and assisting lesser mortals.
Buffing just makes me feel hella immersed in Norrath and line up with the setting.

Makes them more enjoyable, but way less enjoyable than without once you're used to it.

PEDs should be a bannable offense.
They removed it from NPCs for a reason.

Buffs are cheating.
Armor and weapons from other players is cheating.
Spells purchased from other players is cheating.
2 boxing is cheating because you must get all XP with the help of others so by default, soloing is cheating.
Logging in and playing a 20+ year old game is cheating reality.
Posting this reply while at work is cheating my boss.
That's a lot of cheating :D

I had an ALS guy buy something from me in the tunnel one time. There's cheating even in the "no cheating" guilds lol

I used to be in ALS a long time ago. I wonder why he didn't go /anon in order to hide his guild tag during the purchase.

the quests to get dragon's bane is also a huge pain in the ass. Wizards are a huge deal on Vyemm and other dragons it works on though.
