Loly...I'm fairly sure Faydedar was in game the very first day of Kunark. I remember several guilds trying to kill him on my server and failing. horrifically. :/ do you have a link for that ? :) Have you posted it over on the bug forum?

If Faydedar was indeed in day 1 Kunark, it took people a long time to figure out who Faydedar was and talk about him on Alla- Over 3 months in fact. (I would assume one of the first random people he ate would've at least said something about it a lil sooner than 3 months after release.)

If anything you should have been complaining about Talendor, Gorenaire, Severilous, which were not put into the game until August 9th, 2000. If faydedar were put into the game at a later date, it would have been on that day, but you showed a post from July, so he was clearly in game prior to the outdoor dragon addition.

Fungi tunic wasent the common drop off king, but it was not as rare as it is now.

It does appear I was wrong about the first post date on Alla, I found another with some more searching that is May 13th, 2000- However, this is still a bit after release, and after the patch that turned off binding in Timorous. I remember him being added as a way to add a risk versus reward aspect to being bound there.

It is more along the lines of, it was common knowledge to everyone at the time that the Tunic is common. The fix would take 30 seconds and this was reported long ago. I appreciate the server and all but at least a comment within the past month or so on the subject would be nice.

Oh and I wouldn't trust the Feydedar data Loly. Fay was way out in the middle of no where and unlike other kunark dragons he gets his ass beat by the iksar master if not killed within a certain time period. It is very possible that he wasn't discovered or wasn't reported for awhile on live.

If the mob is already slow (from low hp) and the snare makes it slower it would stop completely on live but still do the running thing even though it was essentially rooted due to negative/rounded off runspeed.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Yes, I was referring to the point when a mob starts to run. I realize that undead mobs don't run but a majority of mobs on the server when they reach 8 to 9% they would turn and start to run. "slow run snare" and "dot snare" do not stack and either or will stop a mob from running on low health. There is no combing to make 100% speed reduction.

Clinging Darkness is a very low level necro snare but still stopped the mob from running around 5%. On this server when a mob turns and runs and has clinging darkness on it it runs the entire time until it dies.

This is a bug.

This deserves quoting. Snare was definitely something that was sought after in non-undead type dungeons back when I was playing. Not essential exactly but you did need to have a plan for fleeing mobs. Here I have never worried about it.
