I am unfortunately only half a nerd and couldn't find any specific patch notes outside of wiki stating that wurmslayer
was nerfed "Possibly 02/21/2001 on live" which would correspond with the 9/3/2021 patch for green.
By my calculations, that is 10 months from now. Can I get a yay or nay from you know it alls? :)

August 9th, 7:00am
- The Wurmslayer is now a one-handed slashing weapon.
I would assume this means no longer range or offhand (I don't think it was ever two-hand slashing).

Strange. Was it originally not a 1h slash?
That date would be 3/5/2021 or so here. Sure would be nice to get definitive answers to stuff like this.

the truth is you can’t trust any old time lines THIS time around; as we’ve already experienced
in the “spirit of classic” things WILL be removed/nerfed without alerting the player base, likely so we’re as close to being in the dark as reasonably possible in 2020

I believe it was originally piercing.

tbh it does have the stats of and kind of looks like it could have been 2hs. 25\40 and you can't put it in normal bags because it's size GIANT. seems odd for a 1hs
