Are we going to be able to switch UIs or at the very least use the Kunark UI any time soon since we're now out of classic?

I was under the impression we are using the Velious UI...which means we actually have more functionality than we should.

My memory of the UI was a giant peripheral opaque border. Big class specific graphic on the right. Inventory, spellbar, group, etc all fixed and always open. At 800x600 resolution, this left a tiny window of the 3D game. No alt-tab was possible if I recall, and no windowed mode. No exit button either. You had to know to push camp to get out
The current UI is way more convenient

Long story short, the project 1999 admins decided to use the UI that works best on modern hardware. The one we have is still a classic-era UI, just not the one the majority of users used most the time. The "periscope" UI comes with a lot of headaches.

I believe the story is the original classic UI isn't able to be put in because of something with the titanium client.

This UI existed, but it was also possible to toggle to a different UI mode (via one of the F keys?) that looks very similar to the current UI on green. Transparent UI elements with black borders. This was at launch.

We're using a Velious + Classic Hybrid UI.
It's so unlikely that I'll say no. We won't be changing UI's for kunark on Green 2019
