This election 'result' actually caused more damage to the USA than letting Trump win it. There are now 70+ million disenfranchised voters who for the most part know their votes didn't count because of some dodgy ballet boxes. fyi, I do accept Biden is our president; and a dam fine one at that. He's already announced some of his plans going forward including a covid19 vaccine, nationwide mask mandates and getting back in bed with China.

Many (not all, just many) republicans are more about not spending money on things we disagree with rather than just straight up saving money. It's a very subtle difference but a difference none the less. Here's ONE example of not spending money versus saving money.

I volunteer at a food bank with 20 other people; all part time. There are a total of 4 volunteer driven food banks plus one gov't ran food bank in my area. The volunteer driven food banks collect donations and distribute approx. $10,000/week worth of food. Each of these volunteer food banks has one part time paid person, electricity plus various other minor expenses. Total financial outlay for these food banks is about $250/week for each food bank to keep our doors open. We only spend money that is really necessary to keep going.

The one gov't ran food bank gives the needy about the same amount to the needy. Although they have half the staff each of them is a full time employee. The gov't ran one doesn't accept donated food but rather purchases the food. Their budget is just over $2M/year.

I'm curious though. Where did you get the idea that Republicans want a civil war? I sure as hell don't want one. None of my republican friends want one either. FFS we don't even have any firearms in our house. If a civil war broke out we'd be fucked.

I’m not against investigation, and the Democrats have said they aren’t either if you present actual evidence. So far there have been multiple court cases shot down for lack of evidence; so it’s certainly not that claims aren’t being brought it’s that every time they go to court the Republicans can’t display any evidence at all. I mean, one case was based on one woman who said she received a sticky note that said there was a problem with ballot counting but when she was asked she couldn’t provide a name or any other details. I’m another case, the Republican lawyer literally conceded in court that observers had been allowed within viewing distance of the counting in a case where they had claimed they weren’t lol. It’s just all baseless and we’re seeing that as they continue to go to court. Although I do think it’s funny how Trump supporters were adamantly against any investigation of Trump for anything during his Presidency, but now they’re like “well what’s wrong with an investigation?” Lol

I voted for him in 2016 for monetary reasons, none of which actually panned out. If you think Fidelity mutual funds are a primary gauge of anything, well, not really sure what to say to that haha; I also don’t think you understand the concept of certain expectations (as well as actions not taken by the President) being priced into the market.

He’s not actually cash rich. He funds most of his endeavors through his former charitable foundation, siphoned funds that private investors put into his property development projects (one of the things the southern district will investigate him for when he’s out of office in 2 months), taking out new loans, and now his new PAC that he’s already started taking personal funds from. Most of his actual cash comes from loans that he uses his properties as collateral for, which isn’t that terrible a way to live as long as you can pay down the prior loan with the new loan, but he’s not some super cash rich genius businessman...he really has pretty poor business sense overall. And he’s going to be screwed in two months because once he’s under all these criminal investigations banks won’t loan to him so he won’t be able to pay down existing loans that he takes out to fund his lifestyle.
