WOW I started EQ in 99 when it came out and played all the way through Planes of Power and a few after that and haven't played it 10 years or so. I was just thinking today that if they had the first version of the game I would play again without all the expansions. Quick google and holy cow this is real!!! I am installing it now and going to try it out. Even the old school forum gives it old school feeling. I am loving this!



Sorry for the pointless post. I had great memories on the ECI server!

enjoy the meditate button!

And roll a barbarian character to enjoy running around in the night with only a torch in hand, finding your corpse in everfrost.

I am an erudite and man I have to say, it gets hard to see hahaha.

I thought I remembered the meditate button working by itself at some point but that must have been an upgrade. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also I did find out that spell lists don't work but that ok also.

Does anyone raid the planes like old school? I miss Fear, Hate and Sky.

Make sure to play on the P99 Green server, it's the newer server that just launched last year, Kunark is going to come out in the near future.

Yes, make sure to play on green. It's way too crowded on blue and they're much meaner there too!

If you're active on green you'll know Green is p99's active classic progression server. We are at the end of classic the last big release was Sky Raid and Paineel.
I can assure you no one is capable of killing all the raid targets in sky, in 10 seconds.
That's an all day / all afternoon event.

This!! I remember sky being an all weekend thing.

Since I don't see it mentioned, and maybe you've already found out, but the meditate button doesn't have to be clicked once you reach level 35.

TY! While I'm a long way away from 35 that will be nice once I get there. I'm only lvl 5 right now so finding a good place to hunt is the largest challenge at the moment.

Good time to start an enchanter. They get breeze once Kunark is live. You might be one of the first enchanters to use that spell.
