EXP 42+

I am finding that basically every available camp for exp 42+ is more or less permanently taken. Is this a common experience? I'm at the point where I figure Ill just wait for kunark before trying to level anymore.

I'm seeing this as a pretty accurate statement. It's further exacerbated by the fact that a lot of those camps are also plat-generating camps so you also have a lot with level 50's there to compete with (HG's, Seafuries, guards, specs, etc.)

Unless you can find a camp on off hours or get a group you are basically better off waiting a couple weeks for kunark.

It may not work for you but I found it fun to just treat exp camps like mini list camps and just wait patiently for 2-3 hours for the person ahead of you to be done. I can usually get at least 30 minutes of exping in each night before bed.

forming your own groups is the best option to get shit done, if not chill at archon top and ask to be put on list. what'd i'd do is log in ask to be on list then go do w.e i need to do for the day, by the time i was done i'd either be up next or already in the group

When I was grinding the 40s on green, I did Archon pyramid in CT from 40 until I dinged 46. then 46-50 mostly in Kedge, excluding like half a level I got in the xp group in fear.

I generally don't like solb for xp, but royals is actually pretty good xp if the group is pulling some bats bad bugs on top of the kobolds.

That's why there is a large portion of the population arguing for a 2nd green server. 40+ an up camps are MUCH fewer than the lower level camps.

There's tons of grouping spots open but every caster wants to solo the 40s maki g 8t hard as hell for the melees

almost never, if there are its just guild groups looking to fill that role they need

Don't be afraid to make your own PuG for kedge(or duo with a healer).
Also, as a chanter go to the city of an opposite factioned class charm a vendor and kill stuff.
Duo with a healer at freeti or bugs'n'bats in solb.
get down to perma pits after the next vox raid. bind down there. bring food and water. bring a charged halfling raider skullcap thing. if you get in trouble, click it, charge it, gate back.
king camp in Lguk is pretty groovy for a chanter with the exit in the back(bind there dive to exit if you get into trouble and gate back), or lord camp with a healer.
I want to say there's opportunities in CT, but i'm not super familiar with the mobs there.

Alright if we're being generous to those who don't appreciate the gesture.

Go camp pool area in SolB. Enter in behind the Foreman area from SolA.

It's never camped. 16 kobold mobs in 22 minutes. 10 of 16 are guaranteed non caster warrior mobs. Others are either shaman or non caster. Great leveling to 48 and can even take you to 50 if you wanted.

Use Calm for singles. Charm solo. Animation solo. Grab a duo partner. Challenge yourself to kill all 16 in 22 min... With a whole group you should be able to clear all the way to entrance/Noble competing with Royals pulls.

You'll be 50 before Kunark.

Your choice.
