Ranger Level 49 spells

So I recently hit level 49 and went to grab new spells. According to the wiki Spikecoat should be usable but after buying it in game I noticed it states the ranger level to use is 255, and I cant memorize it.

Is this a patch change at some point that hasn't been hit yet or is the wiki wrong?

It'll be changed at a later date but no one's bothered to update the wiki to make note of that. I used to have a spreadsheet someone put together of all Nilbog's dates for when certain spells change or are made available on vendors but I lost my bookmark for it, so I don't know when this happens for your ranger spell.

I know I ran into this with a magic resist spell or something for Paladin recently and the change date noted on the wiki was all the way into Velious.

Just ding 255 you nub and then you could mem and use it!
