In Trumps defence, and I hate to do this, sometimes it is best to create a business designed to fail as it lets you launder / embezzle while packaging away toxic assets harmlessly.

That's the most pressing issue of this election cycle. It has nothing to do with a president that doesn't follow the law and undermines public confidence in our institutions and runs roughshod over the constitution and rule of law. The big story is that Joe Biden continues to be socially awkward after 50 years in politics. Oh, and what about Hillary's emails?
Trexller
08-10-2020, 04:22 PM
Yeah what about Hilary's emails? Biden was VP during that fiasco. So he definitely knew nothing about it. Yep. No dirty love letters between her and susan rice. Also something about Hunter's Burisma schilling for cocaine.
You know it, I know it, the American people know it!
And Hilary still won't give a straight answer about Benghazi

Sigh...ok.
Teaching children about Restorative Justice through Trans-affirming, and queer-affirming Globalism makes them morally weak. Instead of a cohesive body bound by pride in their nation and culture, the cohort is self-centered and engages in nihilism.
This is exactly what our enemies want; our youth destroyed and grown to participate in further chaos and disorder. Our enemies being personified by Russia and China, but it helps to just think of them as the International Communist Conspiracy. And the ICC has been busy, placing Marxists into our educational institutions for decades and decades.
Does China love Trump? No they hate him! He shits on them around the clock! Do they love Biden? More importantly does he love them? He loves their money! His entire family does.
Does Russia love Trump? No they hate him! He's got the Poles all riled up with their fancy new weapons and he's screwing with their gas! Do they love Biden? More importantly, who was Vice President when a former President told Putin on a hot mike that after the election he was free to ignore the US voters and they could sucky-sucky together?
I trust I have painted a vivid path from the cultural decay that the ICC is wreaking upon our country in their relentless drive to become the sole political system on Earth, through their infiltration of our institutions, and finally to an easily-confused angry old man in Joe Biden's skin.
And now a commercial break, I'd like to welcome Angry Wax to our family!

One or two days? Thats a little disingenuous considering they're literally building the entire curriculum around it. Along with an in depth look into the "familial" aspects of living amongst a tribe of aborigibal blacks who rape children to rid themselves of AIDS and indiscriminately procreate, often by force, with their nieces, cousins, whatever, because the concept of paternity and by extension paternal responsibility, is foreign. We should all strive to be so enlightened.
Moreover, why is any of this garbage important for 5 6 and 7 year olds to learn, during their most formative and rapidly learning years?

its true the ICC is a powerful global organization, but as a senior ICC commissar, i'd just like to correct some things about the history of the ICC here. first off, some communists got together in the late 90s and decided that since everyone else was living in economic fairytale land, we would use marxism to foresee economic crises of capitalism, invest ourselves appropriately, and thus gain control of the means of production. secondly, its not personified by russia or china (which are not persons, btw), but is in fact called "disaster marxism".
heres how it works: with every crisis of capitalism, bands of merry marxists stand ready to leverage capitalism's intrinsic centripetal wealth concentration forces against the system itself. twenty years on we have now pushed capitalism so far past its operating parameters that even titans of industry, from amazon to unilever, were made to quietly bend the knee; were forced to adopt internal command economies, or face ruination. any who resisted, like sears, were destroyed by a combination of self-destructive capitalist instinct and their superior command economy competitors. capitalism now remains as an increasingly de jure system, kept on life support by means of fantastically creative accounting and system level jury-rigging to nominally maintain value, in a capitalist sense, for an ever shrinking group of firms defined primarily by their political connections.
today, every day, more and more people simply wake up, look at material conditions, and independently figure out that marxism? socialism? communism? its good. because its delivering the goods, its making the money, its bringing home the bacon. jeff bezos thinks he's lex luthor taking over the world but he's just building communism for us one fully automated luxury People's Fulfillment Center at a time.

This new learning amazes me! So Joe Biden isn't just a tool, he's an actual New Marxist. The infiltration has now become conversion! This is sad because now we also have to nuke ourselves, our own cities, our own post offices! Still it's for the greater good. We can't allow the Marxist Ballots to enter the system.
We have to kill ourselves to save ourselves. I mean this is a slight twist on the Catholic dogma, but I'm adaptable.

both major US parties in fact represent the interests of the icc. the post-clinton democrats are our trotskyist wing, while post-bush republicans are our twm wing. that is, the democrats work to heighten the internal contradictions of capitalism towards the Final Crisis, while the republicans actively destroy imperial institutions to prepare the way for our alternative institutions.

The fact is Trump is doing exactly what the global puppet masters want him to be doing and will be going nowhere. That's why the Dems pick losing candidates and why the Senate will stay republican. Trump signed off on 54 billion for three warboats, smiling ear to ear, as he cut foodstamps to millions. If Clinton had won, she's be doing the exact same thing as Trump. Trump has not withdrawn from any nation that US was in war with during the Obama era. And will not. He's not allowed to. He's going by the script of his handlers.

Thank you and no offense taken from that second part.
I've been interested in Trump's management style and digging around I found a curious thing. You see, the President's day is extremely structured. Every minute, every meeting, every call, everything planned and directed and he's just hustled from one thing to the other. It's always been like that. When Trump came in, he added blocks of unstructured time to the calendar. Chief of staff John Kelly instituted "executive time" after Trump complained that he didn't have enough time to think. Think about that. Trump has been a top executive and manager all his life and he came in and the first thing he realized is the President didn't have time to think. He couldn't just kick back for three hours and think about what was going on, to let the mind wander, to associate.
Executive time is for people who are in charge of the system, the other way the system is in charge of you. The last President who had executive time was Reagan and now he has an airport and an aircraft carrier named after him. Maybe if the other Presidents had time to think they wouldn't be digging so many fresh graves in Arlington every past administration.
How is this going to look to the rest of the world? Trump is showing real leadership on containing China and Russia, he motivated NATO, he's got good relations with Turkey again, Iran is shut down, no US soldiers are dying in numbers anywhere, Afghanistan is quiet, maybe for good this time. We're super solid with the UK. All of Trump's foes have been disgraced; Macron let pension negotiations devolve into two years of riots, Canadian blackface guy is toast and that German broad lost all credibility for Germany failing to lead the EU and just lost tons of US troops and money to Poland. I would like to point out absolutely zero peeps from North Korea since Trump went down there and choked that fat bastard in private (Trump got 55 soldiers remains back to be buried here with their families after 65 years of waiting simply because no previous administration would even hold talks with the Norks).
Internally, illegal immigration down. Children separation down. Until the Chinese Virus hit the economy was super duper solid. Crime down in every category until the Democrats lost their minds and stopped telling the police to arrest people. If you think the Democrats would have done better with Covid just a reminder that they were united in condemning his travel ban, which as everyone understands is the single most effective method of containing transmission.
What's not to like? Forget the hypocrisy and the lies and nepotism. I'm not going to accept any arguments like that considering the last three Presidents before him were corrupt lying fucks as bad or worse than him.
I understand a lot of people are personally offended by Trump. It's not on me they can't separate the job from the man. It's not on me that vast swathes of idiots ascribe some sort of Messiah status to the position, that the man has to be some sort of guiding light for a population obviously reared without any proper father figures so they need some Golden Father to make things right in their lives. The man is an executive, a manager, and a war leader. I'm very happy with the last one obviously and I don't see him doing worse on the first two than anyone I can remember. So far not a single embassy worker has been gunned down by terrorists while we frantically made lots and lots of phone calls. No one has waved around a glass vial full of sugar as an excuse to murder a quarter million Iraqis. Not a single airliner has been shot down by our trigger-happy missile frigate captains. Not a single Crimea has been invaded by Russia (thanks weak-ass bitch Obama). Speaking of whom, not a single government official has been caught on a hot mike telling Putin that they will be free to ignore US voter's wishes after the election because fuck them let's do some business.
I voted for Trump in 2016 because I hated Hilary more than I didn't want a fat affable liar television personality in charge. I'm voting for Trump this year because I approve of the job he did. And this in spite that the mindless partisan opposition that was way more fervent than anything Obama ever faced.

after the three spoke “and agreed to the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.” The statement said that the “diplomatic breakthrough” was at “the request of President Trump,”
This is the reason I'm voting for Trump. Not because of the deal, but because how it was done. The initial plan was put out by his son-in-law. That plan heavily favored Israel and didn't do squat to stop their expansion. Reaction was lukewarm at best. If Jared altered his plan, he would be seen as wishy-washy. Trump steps in with 'his' plan, gets the deal made which goes way beyond the initial proposal.
He used his son-in-law to sound out the plan and maintain an illusion that it wasn't his plan in the first place. Then he sacrificed Jared publicly so he can ride in, unencumbered by previous plans and make a new deal. Jared learns humility. Trump learns how loyal Jared is. Israel finally cracks the Arab wall and gets full recognition from one member at least. The Arabs are happy the Jews won't take the West Bank (officially). Trump gets a 'middle east peace' headline right before the election. And to top it all off, the deal actually does promote peace.
Obama would have just sent an envoy after envoy after envoy each with a different proposal hoping there's a bite, and maybe a plane full of cash if that didn't work. Oh wait, that's exactly what he did and he got a big fat zero because of it.
The art of the deal.

Yes! The UAE is the logical choice and I'm glad they acquiesced. I guess that teaches the Arabs they should work a bit harder to keep that internal unity going.

Trump has very little to do with the stock market. Most Presidents have very little to do with the stock market. The economy is generally cyclical over a range of decades and Trump just happened to be elected when the economy was good. In fact, as someone who works on Wall Street it's funny to watch people here groan when Trump opens his mouth because you never know when it might cause the market to tank for a couple days (e.g., the Christmas crash a couple years ago). The economy was going to go down regardless from COVID, you're right, but Trump has greatly exacerbated that as a result of his complete and total failure to admit that he messed up and start trying to get this under control. He thinks if he just pretends like the virus doesn't exist and tells everyone to just go back to normal during a pandemic that everything will be fine. That's not the way it works. To me, the COVID situation is the most critical point, because politics aside I think the most important trait for a President to have is to be able to be a strong and confident leader during times of major crises (regardless of what party they are in). Trump has proven he is not that (and continues to prove it multiple times a week with the things he says and a complete unwillingness to really seriously listen to science). I mean, he has Jared Kushner of all fucking people leading the COVID taskforce lmao.
The Democrats panned the travel ban because he just limited it to China when he first instituted it despite the fact that it was spreading like wildfire in Europe.
China and Russia are contained? Lol what? And North Korea? What positives did we get out of that? We legitimized them on the world stage and they said they'd do X, Y, and Z and then did none of that and we were like "oh alright then well if you don't want to that's fine."
Okay, other Presidents have been bad in the past. And? What does that have to do with anything? Saying you can't criticize Trump for all the fucked up stuff he's done because someone else was bad in the past is like saying I can't criticize a pizza place for bad pizza because I've had bad pizza someplace else at some point in my life. Sorry, but speaking here as a Republican I can absolutely say with confidence that I do not think anyone has come even close to the level of outright corruption Trump has displayed. Pardoning his friends who were going to jail for obstructing investigations into him, making the DOJ fire prosecutors who are investigating him, removing IGs and replacing them with cronies so that there is significantly reduced oversight over anything, refusing to fund the US Postal Service because to try and prevent mail in voting (which is actually pretty ironic considering a recent poll showed more Republicans (especially older ones, which make up a big portion of his base) are planning on mail in voting than Democrats), the list goes on and on.
I was hopeful when Trump was elected in 2016. And I think he has done some good things here and there, but the vast majority has been bad and he has proven that he is unfit to lead during a severe crisis. Not to mention the fact that due to his tax reforms I know pay 5 figures more in taxes per year than I did under Obama...like lol what? Obama taxed me less than a Republican President? Repealing Trump's tax reforms alone would be enough to get me to vote against him.

Even if I had been considering renewing my support for Trump, the latest stuff with the USPS (refusing to fund so mail in voting isn't possible, appointing a Trump donor as postmaster general who has tens of millions in stock in USPS competitors, and now the dismantling of many mail sorting machines across the country to reduce the ability to process mail in ballots) is the last straw to me. I may be a Republican, but what's more important to me is the legitimacy of our Democracy and our justice system. Trump has attacked both for his personal interest to an absolutely unprecedented degree. We are no longer the America we are supposed to be. We are no longer a legitimate free Democracy if Trump can do these things without repercussion.

Most of Obama's clemencies were due to reformations in sentencing rules and things like that (i.e. they were granted to many people who were serving way harsher sentences than they should for the crimes they committed and, by the way, most had already served more time than they reasonably should have). It's not even analogous to a President pardoning somebody who lied to Congress to obstruct in investigation into that President, especially when the person didn't even serve the bulk (or any) of their sentence before being pardoned.
Again, I am not a Democrat by any means so I don't say that with any bias. You've seemed like an intelligent person in the past, so I don't think you'd be stupid enough to actually think the Obama clemencies are comparable at all to what Trump did with Stone; I'm guessing you're just being willfully blind about it.

I can't criticize a pizza place for bad pizza because I've had bad pizza someplace else at some point in my life.
Sure you can! But it's the same pizza wherever you go. Biden pizza. Clinton pizza. Obama deep dish, but it's all the same. Trump is the Hawaiian pizza of pizzas. Everyone has an extreme opinion about the ham and pineapple, there is no middle ground. But at least that last pie is fun.
Trump is corrupt. Here is my list of recent administrations in corruption order: Bush II, Clinton, Nixon, Johnson, Trump, Obama, Ford, Bush I, Reagan, Carter. He's right in the middle for me. Opinions might differ, but I place low-level self-aggrandizement and nepotism a lot lower on the scale than blatant pay-for-play Clinton Foundation shenanigans or starting a war and actually legalizing torture so that your friends in Halliburton can get paid.
I hear your points. Most of them are just opinions like mine. You say he handled the Covid crisis badly and his focus is wrong but I disagree. I don't think anyone would have handled it any better and that too much reliance on scientists is a good way to get yourself killed. Like the Sith, scientists only think in absolutes. Scientists shouldn't be in charge of anything. You say he's pardoning people who obstructed investigations, but personally I'm absolutely horrified what happened to Roger Stone and I wouldn't have Trump's discipline in waiting until afterwards to commute his sentence. I don't think anyone other than Stone that Trump pardoned was in any way involved with him.
The only thing I'm going to have to disagree hard on a factual basis is the international situation. First your comment about legitimizing the Norks. North Korea is a legitimate sovereign nation-state and has been for a very long time. They have a border, armed forces and a government; they have international relations such as they are, they trade, and most importantly they can back up their nationhood with a giant pretty mushroom cloud. Not talking to them, not having relations with them is childish spite that does nothing except make them shoot missiles over Japan to show everyone they're still there. Trump went there, he talked to him a couple of times, they exchanged letters and sent a visitor back, it was real nice. Where is the disgrace? Oh we're descending to their level oh noes. We're not at their level. We're the mightiest of them all, but we should show some respect. We bombed the fuck out of them in the 50s and they came back stronger than ever. They took their respect, framed it, put it on the wall and stopped making noise. They've been recognized by the Master MC, the dream of every tin-pot nation and aspiring rapper everywhere.
I can give back on China, but you have to admit they hate him and haven't made any aggressive moves because they're not sure what he'll do. It was Obama's failed pivot-to-Asia that enraged them with our explicit talk of containment and their reaction was to build a dozen islands and claim the entire South China Sea. I like Trump's method, where he's just shitting on them constantly and banning their companies and arresting their executives and keeping them off-balance. I guess I'll take my containment like that.
But for Russia, you gotta pay attention. He fucked them economically. His sanctions screwed their off-shore oil business, they put a halt to the nearly-complete gas pipeline, and if you notice the ruble, which was on a solid run-up in the years before he got elected (thanks flexible Obama!) went into a free-fall in 2016 and has been doing pretty bad until very recently. Militarily I already mentioned the NATO expenditures, but we're also selling lethal weapons to the Ukronazis (I can't resist calling them that), and we effectively moved the eastern NATO border closer to him by 400 miles. There are US armored brigades practicing in Lithuania. Do you know the Poles are going to be getting the Abrams tank? Putin knows. His best buddy Lukashenko is having some kind of big crisis, and it's partly because our friends in the Ukraine (read: the CIA) put out ads in the Belarus media asking for Russian ex-soldiers who had combat experience in the Donbass to work as 'security' guards in some foreign land like Morocco for big bucks, and when they had 33 of them they put them up in a hotel, had them miss their flight, put them up in another hotel this close to Lukashenko's residence and then informed the Belarussian security forces that these guys were plotting a coup and the poor saps were promptly arrested and this caused a giant giant stink which destabilized everything because an enraged Putin pulled his support. The best is that the Ukraine immediately demanded formal extradition of those 33 guys because they were obvious Donbass war criminals, and those are some trials that Putin wants to avoid at all costs. Well played deliverers of lethal aid to the Ukraine, well played! There is a small chance that the Belarussian situation might cause the downfall of Putin. Now that would be some tasty four-dimensional cake!
We could do better than Trump, sure. I mean it's possible. I can't think of a single qualified individual in the entire world that could do the job better though. I mean I don't know everyone of course, but I'm given candidates by the parties, by the media, and they're like here you go, these are the men and women, go choose among them. I looked at everyone they gave us in 2016 both parties, and now 2020 same thing and what have you got? Not a single person with the executive experience, with a tough management style, no one with force and energy. No one just speaking their minds. All just a bunch of fucking caretakers and pretenders and one aging Communist. Every single one of them looks like a person who can't act until they confer, until they reach consensus, until enough people lick their assholes to tell them how right they are.
What saddens me the most I think is not the lack of qualified challengers for Trump but that there is no one waiting in the wings. Think about 2024. Who we're gonna get? Beto again? Haley? Gaetz? I mean I'm ready to vote for another television personality or whatever. Too bad Captain Picard can't run. Avery Brooks is gonna be 76, otherwise a sure vote from me. Brad Pitt? So handsome and just the right age but...yeah no. I wish Marlon Brando was alive. He knew about respect.
At least the spirit lives on.

The book about him being a master negotiator was actually a huge lie and his company exists despite him and his multitude of failed endeavors and ideas and the only way they function is keeping him as far as humanly possible away from day to day activities? Maybe that's what it is though, the legions of useless, fat, racist, worthless americans finally found someone that resonates with them and the rest of us, being successful and dealing with real things like our jobs forgot about all those people in the bayous and the mid-west.
Your narrative is just stereotypes.
I'm 35, technically millennial, although im ashamed of anyone my age and younger. They are pretty much all entirely useless. I'm also in decent shape, racially inclusive, i work, pay taxes. What does being a nerd in college have to do with anything? Pretty much every politician was shoved in a locker at some point, most of you all are still flying the nerd flag. That ghostwriter on Trump's memoir spent 18 months at trumps side, writing the book. Thats 1987. Come 2016 if any author ever wanted to work again, he had to call out trump publicly.
What does it boil down to for me on the Trump issue?
I don't care what else he does as long as he continues to tell china/noko to go fuck themselves. Priority #1 by a wide margain. Anyone who doesn't understand the china threat on the world stage has their fingers in their ears while yelling la la la la

Anyone who still believes its still nation versus nation (like the press wants you to think) has their fingers in their ears. It's now, and has been since the 90s - The Illuminati versus everyone else. They have infiltrated the highest governement positions of every major world power they own controlling stock in every single Fortune 500 corporation, they run the 'free' press and control every bit of information the public sees and hears. They sell arms to both sides of any war. They have their 33rd degree blackbelts (highest ranking of the cult) in presidential/dictatorship leadership positions in many nations, including USA, Canada, France, Britian, Spain, China, Russia, India, Japan, Australia, and South Korea. They control who runs for positions and who is allowed to run. Thats why we will never have another John F. Kennedy.

If Donald Trump really gave a shit about the USA like he claims, then on Day1 he would have used his Executive Powers as President of the United States of America to utterly abolish the CIA (like JFK planned to), NSA (Bush-era agency to spy on Americans), and Patriot Act (more Bush-era unconstitutional bullshit). He's one of them, just like the rest before (except Kennedy) and after. Doesn't matter who you vote for, they control who gets to even run.

Pretty much. I also like his "fuck you" attitude in general. its refreshing to know what a politician actually thinks. Whatever he wants to do with his cronies really has no effect on any of us, unless you live on welfare. If he starts to get lovey dovey with xi jinping my support will wane. I'm also of a thought that if people are saying china is gonna rule the world, then they probably already do. So we might be fucked either way.
No president ever makes their major changes in their first term. Term 1 is all about re-election, term 2 is all about agenda. Thats why the dems made everything go to shit in an election year.
So i'm interested in what this sort of mafia-don type guy does in term 2. Rest assured its coming. Biden put the final nail in his campaign coffin by choosing Kamala harris. Trumps bases numbers are widely underestimated. see 2016.

I'm a bit hungry so I just wanted to mention Turkey.
Professor Obama. So stenorial, lecturing. He needlessly antagonized Erdrogan with human rights bullshit just when we needed them. He ruined our relationship so much the Turks turned off the power to Incirlik Air Base under the pretense of rooting out some traitors. The most important air base in the Middle East, maybe the world. In constant use by USAF since 1955 and home to over 4k personnel and most importantly, 50 shiny nuclear weapons. Sorry it's so dark, we're looking for some coup plotters. Or maybe the Americans are really upset about those reporters and protesters and have something to do with all this. Hang tight.
Trump met with the guy, he glad-handed him and gave him a nice dinner for sure, showed him around; the best of friends. Go look at the pictures Erdrogan looks happy as shit. (A week or so ago Erdrogan declared the Hagia Sophia a mosque again and Trump didn't say shit. I'm sure Obama would go on and on about fundamentalism and lectures about fomenting sectarian strife). I'm sure Erdrogan came with a long list of things he would love to have and Trump made all his dreams come true. Just don't attack the Israelites, please. We're going to need you to do something for us later, don't worry about it now though. How about that Dubai though, right?
Now the Turks are doing all the heavy lifting in Libya for us since the Egyptians can't be trusted to stay Egyptians and besides they're backing the wrong horse. The Turks took responsibility for their Syrian area and all of sudden we're not having any problems there. Do you know why you haven't heard anything from the poor oppressed Kurds and how badly the Turks are mistreating them? Because Obama's foreign service isn't out there amplifying their terrorist propaganda. Trump dropped support for them fast, good riddance to those trouble making dweebs. Like Trump said, they weren't with us in Normandy. I mean neither were the Turks but rightly we need to support the most moderate and also the most stable and powerful Muslim nation, if we have to support any. Turkey has been a solid NATO ally since 1952 all the while knowing they're gonna take hot nukes up the Istanbul in any real war since they hosted nukes themselves. And how do we repay them? Oh you're arresting too many reporters. Erdrogan was probably too polite to provide a list of Obama-separated children.
What's my point? Trump is a genius. A stable one. The stability comes from having hours and hours of executive time, time you and I (I especially) might waste trying to build a proper magma forge in Dwarf Fortress, but time that Trump uses to see the future, like Dr. Manhattan. And the genius comes from distilling a very complex situation and synthesizing all the information and using the simplest communication method (out of the past 15 presidents as measured on the Flesch-Kincaid grade level scale) to get shit done. When a fourth-grader tells you what he wants you to do, you understand exactly so you go to the pony store and get him a pony. When the professor wants something, it's like you think you remembered all those words and what he said, but he just went on and on. In the end you were kind of left with a feeling he was talking so much because he wanted to fuck you. So you go and make friends with some smelly Kurd.

thats exactly how JFK met his fate. anyone in the know, knows this. You can't just disband and discard an agency who's entire business is knowing your dirt, and getting stuff done without anyone knowing. The CIA is its own type of monster.

61% believe it was a conspiracy. 30% believe he acted alone. 9% express no opinion.
I love how little things reveal human psychology and the need to be part of a group. 91%. Nine out of ten people think they have an informed opinion about an event they know nothing about. Literally no one on earth at this time can prove it either way. It's all magic bullet and LBJ and bush or shrub...grassy knoll that's it. Conjectures, theories.
Anyone proficient with a rifle can hit a volleyball 265 feet away 5 out of 6 times. Even if it's tied to a pig and you give that pig a nice kick. That pig can be running around the parking lot and you're like blam, that's a hit, blam, that's a hit. Look the pig is ok too! All right maybe not. Sorry Governor.
Still the coincidences are insane. The dude was in Red Square so he's working for Russians obviously. And then he was silenced by a cancerous mob associate? What the fuck? How come it's like a hundred years later and we still don't have a primary document, no confession, nothing. Not a single person involved in this vast conspiracy had second thoughts ever. They never wrote down any deathbed confession, no one did. No one said you know, maybe conspiring to kill the President was a bad idea and I was a bad person but now I found Jesus so.... But then again there are dozens of weird smelly incidents that were never explained so maybe the conspiracy was tight. Or maybe it was a matter of silencing those involved. Who knows.
Fun to think about. Fun to think what kind of murderous war Kennedy would have gotten us into if he lived. What the future might have been. Oh wait. Right...Vietnam. It would have been exactly the same.

Thanks, I thought Red Storm Rising was just awesome although I didn't care for his other works. I was a big fan of the Soviet bum-rush but I found books like the one by Hackett to be dry. I like a little fiction in my jursidiction.
I wish you the best of luck in your goals though because I admire the struggle up to a point. I want to remind you that the systems your're trying to abolish are organic. I'm not passing value judgement on them, just saying that organic things are very hard to fight. Because they form naturally.
Like look, the thing about workers and the police. Let's take a person, we can call him a worker because they are self-fulfilled mostly by being productive and being occupied and useful. That person doesn't want to be armed for several reasons. First is that the vast majority of people they don't like the anxiety of thinking they might have to shoot someone and there would be blood and people screaming. And two is that as someone who wants to be productive, a worker, they know that they can spend a lot of time providing security or standing up for their rights with their guns, or they can spend less time making some product, selling that product, and then pooling their money with other workers to...hire security people. Who carry guns.
In a primitive society, every male outside the infirm carries a spear. So there we go. But organically, all primitive societies become complex, and then some cop is hassling you. You can't abolish the police because you can't abolish crime and you can't abolish the ability and desire of people to cooperate in groups and assign specialized tasks among themselves. You can make the police better or worse but that's the range. If you abolish the police I will hire someone to be the police and then we will have police again. And I will be more powerful because you guys are going to be part-time policemen and my guys well...they're just going to be cracking skulls and there goes your society.
Same thing with wealth and state. Your wealth means nothing if there isn't an administrative body that allows you to compare your wealth and trade it. I mean yeah, you can trade one pelican for three rocks, but for any transactions more complex you need standards so you can build trust. You can't build a hydroelectric plant in a barter economy. So as a worker you're outsourcing stability, security, and regulation. If you had to do all that it would take you all day. But this way it's paid off by April.
Other things are more possible. I mean I'm all against "seeking funding" from aristocrats, by which I mean stopping the destructive power of private equity firms who like my past girlfriends only destroy wealth and never add anything of value. I worked for an outfit that was acquired by Henry Kravis' for a bit, I've seen the damage they do firsthand the fucking vultures. I'm all for people developing systems where they don't have to suck dick for money they are being scammed into thinking they need.

capitalism is a natural and organic stage of economic development. the class struggle you describe is central to its development, although it plays out slightly differently: "primitive" people going about surviving developed useful skills and tools, like cultivation and animal husbandry and medicine, and as these became more efficient and valuable relative to laboring, the use-value of violence rose. specifically, warrior classes appear because it is easier to make violence your labor and threaten others to hand over their labor, forcing societies to piss away resources on "guard labor" to survive. this is not "more complex," and the notion that it is is perhaps the oldest case of revisionism -- in reality, even neanderthals (https://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence/human-fossils/fossils/shanidar-1) enjoyed the benefits liberalism assigns to "complex" societies, which really stretches the word beyond meaning. capitalism derives power not from creating surplus, but from managing surplus, from finding the optimal amount of violence to inflict.
your analysis of wealth is true as well. indeed, hunter-gatherers can't build a hydroelectric plant. nor do they need to i suppose, but i am not a primitivist, so i can't speak to that. i like civilization. in any case, we marxists do not propose a barter economy. but we understand that capitalism will end, organically, by the same forces that birthed it. that is the whole point of lenin's warnings about imperialism, or "crony capitalism." that it is every bit as inevitable for the parasitical capitalist class to emerge and grow within the capitalist economy as it is for a warrior class to emerge within the hunter-gatherer society.
in both instances, the increasing dominance of the new class brings the system to a higher level of organization where all non-members of the dominant class (if you can't stop working while you live off passive income, that's you) are enslaved, and the lower to middle members of the dominant class become gradually relegated to working class. there is never a point where it fully implodes in a cataclysmic explosion. it's more like the centuries of slowly receding productive forces and organization you saw after the western roman empire failed to produce a new superstructure when the economic base outgrew the imperial state, where everyone was a huge doomer walking around constantly being reminded of living in the corpse of a much greater civilization.
joe biden and donald trump are both members of the parasite class, as are the UAE's elites, as are all bourgeoisie (people who can stop working and live off passive income) who participates in the global system of capital and dont turn class traitor. the parasitical class' material interests lie with bringing the system to this higher state as soon as possible. it's all organic, individual decisionmaking based on material conditions. its still happening.
in some utopian sense, communism is simply the very common-sense idea that we shouldn't have a parasite class. pretty much everyone agrees with that. the hard theoretical problem is how we get rid of them.

Liberals don't really have beliefs. Sometimes they stumble on one, like on a child's toy left on the carpet. The toy must be put away immediately. And the child reprimanded. Liberalism isn't change -- not even incremental change. It is control. Over yourself and the world. Exercise it. Ask yourself: is there something sinister in liberalism? And then answer: no. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

I went to the same high school Hillary Clinton attended (Go Demons!). If I knew what was going to happen I would have stayed late in chemistry lab and sent myself back in time some years and then I would have broken her heart so bad her self-esteem would be just destroyed and she would wind up in a mental hospital and never make it to Wellesley.
I would have been a hero. I mean no one would know. No one but Trump. He would drive by in his big limo and just give that famous thumbs up and drive off. I expect I would get a visit from Clinton too, and he would have the same sized limo except it would be open topped and have a jacuzzi and Kamala Harris would be just sucking his dick.

If anyone has a better explanation why women support Biden 59% to 36% I would love to hear it.
If they just let men vote it would be a Trump landslide 56% to 40%.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/08/16/politics/cnn-poll-biden-trump-august/index.html
Trump has narrowed the gap with Biden with the Democratic challenger's lead shrinking to just one point in 15 key election battleground states, poll shows.
The survey, carried out from August 12-15, found that Democratic candidate Joe Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris had a national 4-point advantage over Trump and Vice President Mike Pence at 50%-46%.
The 4-point advantage given to the Democrats was on the cusp of the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
Plus or minus 4 margin of error means they could be essentially tied.
In the 15 crucial battleground states, the gap had closed even further with Biden given just a 1-point lead over Trump at 49%-48%.
And with the margin of error, (assuming it's the same poll), Trump could actually be ahead by 3%.
The movement among voters nationwide towards Trump and Pence since June is concentrated among men and those between the age of 35 and 64.
And there it is. Who is moving to Trump? Men and other mature people.
Who is not moving to Trump? People under 35, i.e. those still governed by their feelings. Children then, according to the post-modernist development theory.
We are letting children and women decide our future. I mean we're not, because Drumpf will smite all, but c'mon.

The ‘Rage Moms’ Democrats Are Counting On
“Right now, I think women have just had it up to their eyeballs,” Ms. Warren said in an interview. “They no longer feel isolated and one-off in how they couldn’t figure out how to make the system work, and recognize the system is broken, and nobody’s making it work.”
Ms. Warren added: “They’re fired up. And I love it.”
Yeah let's get those emotions flowing! Fire them up!
As an aside...
“Moms definitely know how to multitask,” said Smitha Chadaga, who has spent a career working as an internist in a hospital and became politically active after the 2016 election, when her children asked if their family would have to leave the United States
Fuck you Smitha, I'm dealing with four different things at work right now and that includes placating one real angry lawyer. I'm also dealing with my wife's feelings. But the basic starting point for a probabilistic, poll-driven model ought to be this: Is polling in August a highly reliable way to predict the outcome in November?
The short answer is “no.”
Yeah those polls that just came out? Yeah...you see those are August Polls. Ever since we correctly predicted Hillary would win back then we discovered that August Polls are uniquely faulty. June, July polls? Fuckin' solid man! September polls? Truthful!

Yeah I mean, maybe your local one sucks, the several I've been to had really nice people there, but again I don't live in a swamp so maybe that's why, idk.
Also that's not really what I was talking about, I think most people don't get particularly good service at the DMV either, or probably most other government agencies.
The USPS though, is required to deliver mail to any and all locations in the United States, there's definitely communities that either wouldn't get delivered to or they'd be charged insane prices by UPS/Fedex to deliver there..but that's also kind of besides the point.
It's not really meant to be profitable, it was created with the intent to only charge as much as it needed to to sustain itself because we all sort of agreed people should have access to getting mail. So, I mean, its kind of problematic that it's not breaking even I think is probably a better conversation to have and maybe investigate why that is and what decisions lead to this point that maybe could be rectified.

This is shaking out to the be weirdest election of my lifetime so I'm not sure.
On one hand we have the Hand of God. The Lord is wrought or tests us, but either way the virus comes and it mostly affects the mind. It's the first Amygdalic Virus. On the other hand we have the riots, which were a gigantic misfire by the Democrats. Cowed and instructed they allowed their footsoldiers a little too much latitude. Right that's cool and all but, just so we're on the same page though, you have a vague idea of what science is and how it works?
Saying that it deals in absolutes seems kind of ignorant is all, so just making sure. Also, why can't he have that opinion? You don't actually have to do what doctors recommend but recommending a course of action is...somewhat the point, no?
Like I was in the hospital recently and the PCA were like "we have to take your blood at 4am" and I was like "nah I'm good don't do that" and they were like "we have to" and I was like "nah I'm good" and then they didn't and I finally got a good night sleep there. On the flip side when I had a migraine* that blinded me temporarily in one eye and the neurologist was like "Hey dog we gotta do hella tests immediately to make sure you're not absolutely fucked, I'm going to call a stroke code to expedite it, a shit ton of people are going to rush you, is that cool?" I was like "yeah that's cool I'd like to know that too, scan the fuck outta this brain".
The neurologist wouldn't be very helpful if he just swung by like "Yo you might've had a stroke" and walked away.
*Neurologists currently assume this, because they don't deal in absolutes, because there's no evidence or indications of any harm whatsoever to my brain or eyes, they really only ruled out all the super scary shit that it could have been but don't know what actually happened. In fact, it'd be kinda dope if they _did_ only deal in absolutes and could tell me exactly what happened, because nothing makes you feel better than randomly going blind for 30 seconds and doctors being like "bro no fuckin idea that's weird".

I've never had a doctor that knew me personally, I think that'd be weird. I don't want them to, fuck that, in fact I want them to know as little about me as possible, be objective. I move every few years for work and rarely visit them anyways, but why wouldn't I listen to someone who has spent decades studying something that I know very little about? Isn't that really just suggesting not to respect and listen to your elders?

Also, it's not stealing content. You have every right not to look at a billboard you pass on the freeway. Youtube sent an encoded ad to my computer. I simply told my browser to look away. Even so, if that ad had shown up, I'd have never noticed it anyway. My big throbbing posterior parietal visual association area literally filters advertising out of my consciousness.

Using a VPN and Chrome incognito mode, I got the ad, so I don't think it's based on any targeting... unless people in Chrome incognito using the same VPN IP watch a lot of conservative stuff...
Having said that... the only reason I wen't incognito in Chrome is because my adblocker blocks all this crap on my normal Chrome.
Banner ads are so 90s. For boomers & soccer moms who don't adblock, this is a great move.

I love in The Simpsons where Homer insists on the family watching the adverts as not to do so would be “Stealing Television”. The shot then goes through the window to show they have an illegal cable stealing from their neighbour’s connection.
It raises a question; why are legitimate subscribers paying to watch advertisements?

I'm not sure where the mindset comes from that you shouldn't receive any advertisements if you pay for access to a service. Like you buy a ticket to a game, you're not outraged because there's a Coca-Cola banner staring at you from above the stands. When you go to a doctor's office the have ads for skin creams on the walls in the waiting room, but yet you're essentially paying $45 to sit there and you don't even care. But somehow media is different. And yet you're just paying for access to service just like anywhere. It must be a holdover from when cable first started out, like look I have The Home Box Office and there's no ads! Oh wow!
The thing is subscriber fees don't even come close to covering costs. If you cut out the advertising then the subscriber fees would go through the roof. Where I work we have like 150 sites and get our revenue from advertising, from selling data, from selling merch, and from subscriber fees. If any of the former were take away, the latter would double or triple.
By the way, speaking of adblockers, we know who and how many and when and we can totally get around those users. We have anti ad-block tech that works 100%. We can serve you ads around your adblocker if we chose to. Or we can block your access. We don't choose to though. We monetize the adblock people by collecting data on them and selling that information to people who are interested in how many people use adblockers and what kind and whatever other PI we can gather. When you have a 150 websites and millions and millions of pageviews a month that information becomes valuable because of the scale. We also convert adblock people to paying customers by serving them special pages that basically say hey if you turn off your adblocker you can access this and that content, and also if you pay $5 you can get that content and also no ads, which works with enough of a percentage of people that it makes financial sense for us to do so. When someone comes to our sites with an adblocker, we lose money on the ads but we make it up somewhat by selling that visitor info to someone.
Don't even get me started on us being able to pay the adblocker people to have them designate our ads as safe or allowable or whatever. The adblocker companies figured out real quick that they can monetize their users just like any other cattle. When you install some adblocker app, you're just providing someone with a way to gather more info on you. I mean yeah, you're also getting less ads so that's worth it for most people.

indeed. empire cannot survive except by subjugating more and more and more, until there is nothing left to subjugate. every moment, every atom, every calorie subjugated for the reproduction of empire. you will see empire. you will perceive empire. and you will act as empire commands. you have no right to be free of advertising anywhere, nor to be free from anything else, to do anything except what is useful to the reproduction of empire. not even the tiniest of free spaces, not one unconsumed moment can be permitted.

Ooh your rant just reminded me of the worst thing. TV channels that cut down scenes out of shows so they get more time to show advertisements. I remember once watching Scrubs and thinking ‘Hey, thats a callback gag except the part they are calling back to didn’t actually happen...’

the assyrians started thinking (as a people) around 2600BC but it took about 300 years to get that proper akkadian empire thinking and that empire thinking lasted until maybe 600BC when they finally ceased to have independent political thoughts, although as a people they continued to think for many centuries after.
i guess im on the right track. if i want to provide 17 centuries of stability for my children and their descendants i guess thinking like an assyrian can be the way to go.

Consider the insidious tendrils corporate America has delved into the political system.

That's a serious problem with the mental health of some American voters. You've got 2 bad candidates but a lot would vote for a President with Alzheimers/dementia or worse if it meant not getting a Trump 2nd term. Biden would be the weakest leader in American politics for decades and he'll carry on sniffing kids, being led around by a handler so he doesn't wander off and doing other stupid stuff.
