Hello from guild,renamed guild, ghost, <Ghxst> and now <Freedom>!

We are a new guild full of players of all different experience levels, types, and styles. We have a few common goals: to raid end game content, complete epic quests, level up and group together and have a lot of fun doing it!

We go after this raid content with low numbers, and have a proven track record of doing so. We are competitive, quick to mobilize, and are friendly to new players and folks who may just be learning to raid for the first time, or again after 15 years. While we do go after the weekly respawns, we do all sorts of content during the week, such as Plane of Sky, Halls of Testing, Arena, and more!

We enjoy raiding, but that's not the only thing we do. We work together on epic quests, play lower level characters, explore dungeons and group content, level up together, and sometimes team up with other guilds to accomplish certain goals, or just for the fun of it. If you’re concerned about not having anyone to group with, we level up new characters all the time, and enjoy the game for the sake of the game. Our guild is a home and has space for both casual players, and the seasoned raider.

Important note about time zones:
We have members located all over the globe with varying playtimes and playstyles.

We are looking to grow a raid guild community to kill end-game content with a smaller number of players than is conventional. We strive for excellence in our low-numbers encounters, but can also play the game casually. We welcome people from all backgrounds.

Who we are looking for:
Intelligent, positive people who enjoy playing EverQuest
Players who want to experience everything Project 1999 has to offer
Coachable players who are willing to learn from some of the best minds & raid leaders P99 has to offer
Players who want to have FUN!

A few particulars that everyone should know:
We are a DKP guild. It is yours to earn & spend as you see fit. There are no restrictions around mobs, mains vs alts, raid attendance, levels of toon you can spend it on, etc.
We have two membership tiers: Member and Raider. Applicants apply to join whichever tier is most appropriate for them.
Applicants, Members and Raiders are eligible to earn DKP.
Only members and applicants in the Raider tier will gain access to our Batphone.
Boss mobs that require ultra fast mobilization will be for raider tier members & applicants, while scheduled content & raids will be open to the full membership (some level restrictions apply).

Weekly Content:
All of Velious/Kunark/Classic mobs
Plane of Sky Saturday mornings
Random HoT runs throughout the week
Kael Arena and Platehouse
Flurry guards in ToV

Membership Requirements:

Raider Tier:
Level 55+ to apply
Level 60 to complete Full Raider status
Has obtained clicky/resist requirements (maintained on our forums)

The back acne reminds me of my time abroad.


When I was in Greece I went to a Sicilian restaurant. I ordered a mushroom folded pizza. I joked about whether it was a front for laundering money and hoped I wouldn’t get whacked.

My MIL ordered the same thing but refused to finish it after a couple of bites as she thought it was bad. I ate all of mine.

Coincidentally I had some really severe stomach upset that night. I felt really bad, but happily due to timezone differences I had my raid to keep me company through the night. It was a sky or growth clear, my memory is hazy, but they kept me going when I felt like death.

After one particularly violent heave I felt a bubbling sensation travelling from my core outwards to the skin of my back.

That morning when my wife woke she screamed with horror as one side of my spine was a blooded scabby mess. Apparently my body had been so stressed at this sudden mystery illness it allowed for an outbreak of shingles.

We went to an american doctor and she was a bit of a hippy. She suggested making a raw onion soup and bandaging it to the area. We ended up going with the advice and medication of a different doctor.

Things to know about <Freedom>

Raiders are welcome to join us; currently, you can get a DKP transfer from now up until August 7. We use an algorithm developed by a pseudo-scientist to adjust your DKP to our system.

We work on a sponsorship/app basis. If you have 3 sponsors, it's a 10 day application period, 2 sponsors = 20 days, and so on. If you don't have a sponsor, that's ok, and we go through a traditional application period of 30 days. Applicants can earn dkp and bid on loot.

We had a few good kills for our first cycle as a guild, and more to come! Please PM me here or ping me on discord at Vraxx#8433 if you have any questions.

Call yourself what you like. AM, AM 2.0, Guild, ReNamed Guild (RNG) Ghost/Ghxst, Freedumb or even just keep it simple. AM 7.0.

Nothing has changed in the core structure of all these lesser forms of AM.

Does turning up with 5-10 players and FTE with zero chance of a kill count as contesting or raid interference?

Failing 4 out 5 Ring Wars really contesting, or just wasting other guilds chances of pixels?

Killing statue and then not even attempting to engage AoW so he de-pops thus wasting a 5 day mob for the rest of the server, really a great way of contesting?

Having a solo player in Seb and running down to FTE Trak and then pull to poop mountain and wipe AG and Riot count as contesting?

Training and wiping Riot on two separate Vulak engages, then trying to lawyer quest the server. Brag how you killed Vulak with AG/Aegis and multiple other guilds. Then have to concede 2 for breaking rules really a great way of contesting?

So called, Elite players usually have elite/high standards of conduct to go with it.
