Monthly Open Server Raids Link Reference for details: https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=354263

It's that time of the month again! IF there are no changes, the natural spawns for the server will occur next week on Friday 6/5 and Saturday 6/6

We are inviting everyone to experience 7 Day "Dragon" content including Plane of Fear (Dracoliche, Cazic-Thule), Plane of Hate (Innoruuk), Lady Vox and Lord Nagafen.

The loot rules are all listed in the above mentioned link. Last month we had alot of fun and great drops (We also had a Dial-A-Port member win a Runed Bolster Belt)

Listed below are the spawn windows that would occur naturally if nothing changes (Like an Earthquake).

Approx. Windows (The target can spawn anytime between the times listed below) You have 30 minutes to arrive at the meet location before the open raid begins and 45 minutes for Vox:

Lord Nagafen - Window Opens Friday 6/5 at 4:40am EST and closes Friday 6/5 at 8:40pm EST
Plane of Hate/Innoruuk - Window Opens Friday 6/5 at 12:20pm EST and closes on Saturday 6/6 at 4:20pm EST
Plane of Fear/Cazic-Thule and Dracoliche - Window Opens Friday 6/5 at 4:55pm EST and closes on Saturday 6/6 at 8:55am EST
Lady Vox - Window Opens Friday 6/5 10:24pm EST and closes on Saturday 6/6 at 2:24pm EST

When the mobs spawn we will create a separate forum post, make a shout in EC, and also post on discord where you have 30 minutes to arrive to the appropriate location. Thanks!

I wonder if Seal Team is going to show up again, sit in their own corner of the zone and not participate.

Do you have to be part of a guild to participate or the only requirement is 46+

Only requirement is 46+. The hope is to get people that normally wouldn't get to see the content an opportunity to!

There are still a lot of new players on P99 who don't know about these. Be sure to spread the word in game for those who don't read the forums or are new to the server and fit the requirements.

Sometimes these open raids are a great opportunity to find new members that fit your guilds playstyle or make new friends to explore norrath with. Open raids are good! (especially when server first isn't involved)

ST shouldn't be allowed to roll on this open raid, i saw this as well. They just sat by but were still happy to roll on drops. Either help or attempt to help or gtfo

I am not in <ST> and you sir are looking at this all wrong. Do they put forth 100% like they would if competing - probably not but can’t blame them. Do you still get a better shot at getting loot rather than going up against them? Most definitely enjoy the free handouts while they Last I know I will :)

I'm saying they put forth 0%, not that they were lazy or didn't do much. They didn't do anything. I raid with UN, we've gotten plenty of targets, ST still is the best guild but I, and many others, have gotten plenty of shots at raid loot.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I saw ST players casting, healing, meleeing during last raid I can prob dig up some OBS if you’d like. ALOT of people were afk or doing nothing though from allll guilds. I would not be surprised if someone won dragon loot who wasn’t even on an encounter log. I heard for CT 20% more people rolled than were in zone for the kill lol

TLDR - quit being a whiny bitch and either go to the open raid and expect people to be slack and just /random like everyone else. Or don’t go. Or join Hyjal or whatever that crazy dude is who will probably be trying to snipe UN open raid clears.

It's cute how almost every post turns into RnF. Really helps bring the community closer.

Sadly, Greens forum community is garbage. Not saying there is not some fun peeps to chat with. But, lets face it. The same 10ish trolls live on RNF/Green forums. And just love pushing others buttons. Green has a guild dedicated to this as their RP (which is made up of these 10ish forum trolls)

Thanks again for hosting and running these open raids. It was fun to see some of this content for the first time. :)

I was curious about quantifying the chances at various pixels and figured others might be interested too, so I wrote a little script to analyze my log file. Note that I didn't attend Naggy. See below for the data, but here are some quick observations/thoughts:

If you play a relatively unpopular class and something drops, you have a pretty good chance (sometimes >50%).
If you're going to do just 1 raid, Fear is probably the best because of the number of trash drops.
You're probably not going to get an all/all item like AoN/RBB (<1% chance).

Details on log file parsing for those curious: It's probably not perfect, but it just looks for a group of people all rolling the same die within a short time period (I decided on max 3 minutes between any 2 rolls). It then references a collection of item/number combinations from shout/ooc - if the item name appears in the Lucy item database, then it guesses that the number was someone announcing the roll. If there's then a match of a possible roll announcement happening within 3 minutes of a group of people rolling that number, then it links the events. I still had to manually cleanup the data slightly after this (e.g. after winning roll X was announced, someone did /rand X which erroneously made it look like they were the only roller and therefore winner for that item). I could have also missed rolls, especially in Fear where the raid was a lot more spread out.

Felt like the good old days. Lots of fun. Thanks for all your reporting on it @edmazur! I'm a little behind on setting up my public posts about it, but laying the infrastructure for the future events.

If you can't appreciate the humor in a third of the server wiping to Vox and doing a 250 person cr at 4 in the morning, I can't help you. Almost as epic as Eratani GFlux Pull Inny for 300 player wipe: https://kingdomdkp.com/eqdkp/index.php/News/Haters.html (https://kingdomdkp.com/eqdkp/index.php/News/Haters.html?)
