As RMT is HIGHLY frowned upon within the P99 community. It is shocking to read/back read some of the controversial P99 forum posts (RMT related). Can any of it be... proven? With this community's staunch stance against RMT, I believe the largest scandals in P99 history MUST be RMT related. However, I personally, have never witnessed overwhelming evidence to prove any individual guilty. Have you? If so, how is it done? Is money actually being made?

It was before my time as well, but I have dived into this cautionary tale whilst on the toilet. My understanding is that vyrenoth was a man of questionable emotional stability who became easily unhinged by pvp. He might write a strange freestyle forum rap at you on the forums, or go on an incoherent rant on you via voice chat. Thus, he seemed very easily trolled by the denizens of red 99. Then one day, he took his pvp to the streets with a rusty morning star, and luckily the woman he tried to gank was able to run to the guards at zone line.

Many states have banned convicted child predators from playing online games, and Blizzard banned thousands of them from WoW for good reason. I actually happened to be playing on Moon Guard, and was a Guild Officer at the time when it was brought to my attention that a player in our guild was soliciting young boys. I googled his Skype name, and found out that it was the same URL as his facebook page. From there, I learned that this guy was a convicted pedophile.

Additionally, if you threaten to kill someone online, you can and will be arrested for it. Too many sociopaths have figured out how to use the internet to prey on people. In my experience if someone is hiding their identity, it's usually for good reason.

I'm not claiming to be a hero, but I probably wouldn't have believed the random strangers who contacted me without having access to this guys criminal history. We were a popular guild and I regularly had to deal with random players messaging me trying to stir up drama since I was an officer. My initial reaction was adamantly defending him, and then I started remembering some of the things he said to me on voice chat that started to concern me, but that I hadn't thought anything of at the time. I finally created an alternate character and went to Goldshire (popularly referred to as "pornshire" on said server), and witnessed it for myself.

Once I finally called him out for it and reprimanded him I saw his true personality. Went from being the most meek person on the planet to being a foaming-at-the-mouth sociopath and stalker who made death threats towards me and my extended family on social media.
