Let's just delete half of someone's gear and banked items they camped that were in game because we decided that would be more fair and respectful than letting honest hard working newbs have their cake and eat it to when we left nonclassic pixels in the game from the get go!

Seriously? It isn't like I spent any less time camping those items. They were in the game and now instead of being any closer to lambent I am half naked. I wish the GM's had any idea how my stomach felt when I hit character login after coming home from my essential work to excitedly log in and go try to camp a torch for my mage on my bard, only to find out I am half naked and my bank is half empty, but Ivy etched gear is already selling like hotcakes in EC.

The efforts of p99 staff to continually cater to the neckbeards, poopsockers, and zerg guilds while shafting John Q. I don't think ANYONE would be pleased to log in to see their helm, arms, and legs missing from their character, regardless of what those pieces are. I logged in to my half naked main. It didn't feel good. There is 0 reason for that to ever happen to a player.

I shared the experience of what they did and how it effected me in a negative way, and how unfair that felt. If you don't like it cool? I don't care.

The only gear a bard needs is its instruments, if you cant play a bard naked then you miswell play another class cause you suck at playing a bard, bards are one of the least gear dependent classes in the game other then their instruments.

Why would I assume random no drop armor that fit every single plate class in the game was ONLY added with lambent armor quests? I have been wearing all of it as armor for 10 levels... gear dropped while leveling, which I looted and wore as upgrades. I am now half naked.

Their only reason to remove it would be if it was non-classic, meaning they knew and wouldn't need anything posted if this was their decision.

But yeah... nice point you've made against the GM's decision there. Glad you drew the same conclusion I did.


I just assumed their end use was added with temple of ro, rather than their inclusion in the game itself. There are TONS of useless items in game which later had uses added. Not everything was 100% patched in at a later date.

1) I am relaxed, playing the game right now, with my friends, and my bard is as effective naked as geared

I also had the armor on other classes, your points are invalid. They are not bard only pieces. They were in game.

Given not all of the items for lambent were in game I had 0 cause to assume it was anything but intentional, as someone had to place them into said game.

I wanted my militia tunic, fiery vambraces, icy greaves, and opaline helm swag. I looked how I wanted and I was very happy. Now I have to compete with poopsocks to go reloot my stylish worn no-drop armor that folks would regularly inspect me to find out how I looked so cool.

Did deleting no drop armor from a bunch of newbs wearing it really somehow affect how fast zerg's will hand in banked lambent stones? As if my lvl 30 bard main who was wearing this shit is gonna pull a dozen lambent stones out his butthole or something? I can't even afford the gems, and the other pieces were not in game yet such as dark-boned bracelets, so I naturally assumed these were simply classic pixels I could enjoy wearing which had the added benefit of being one day useful in acquiring lambent if I chose to do so.

I have posted a petition per Menden's request, despite having already done so in game per the item reimbursement suggestions under the petition forum guidelines. I will assume Menden's request to do so trumps Rogean's general rules for that subforum and await their response, and update yall upon further action from the staff.


I accepted the actions and merely posted to vent, as this forum exists to do. Those who played along and made it humorous, thank you for participating. Those who attempted to censor, or chastise me for using RNF for what RNF is for... shame on you for being deplorables. A persons displeasure with a choice someone else made which had a negative impact on them is in no way indicative of any sort of misconduct or maladjustment. The only gear a bard needs is its instruments, if you cant play a bard naked then you miswell play another class cause you suck at playing a bard, bards are one of the least gear dependent classes in the game other then their instruments.
