As many have probably noticed Magnetaress is a ... prolific poster. They clearly love EverQuest, and it's also clear from their copious posts that the human behind the account actually has a brain: at times a fairly clever one in fact.

Imagine if, instead of spending all their time on www.project1999.com/forums, they instead spent some of it on https://wiki.project1999.com. Imagine how much content they could add!

I never said that. All I said was, perhaps that energy could be better channeled.

Also, I won't in anyway dispute that I spend a lot of time on the "meta-game" of EQ. However:

A) I already channel a good percentage of my energy into the wiki (ie. I take my own medicine)

B) if you want to compare apples to apples, instead of to oranges ... my Posts Per Day is at a "healthy" 2.67 :p

:) I think I've "banned" (temporarily suspended) two people in the entire time I've been an admin. Maybe three: it's been several years now and I smoke a lot of pot.

All of them were blatantly vandalizing the wiki (and there's "proof" of as much in the wiki history) ... but hey good try Daloon: at least this is starting to feel like an RnF thread,

Just look at all the epic quests, 99% of the links are dead links u have to manually search.

Also wtf is up with the bone chips quest page? You can't get an ordered list, u have to go to the quest page that supposedly 'lists them all'

The one that really bakes my noodle is whoever the fu decided to break the tradeskills pages into multiple tables, rather then sort tailoring by order of difficulty or trivial, there's a table for tattered, a table for bags, a table for weirdo shit...

It sounds to me like you've identified a bunch of wiki projects in need of fixing!

One thing I do appreciate about the wiki is the little X's when u click the map for things

Glad you like it :D

That's the "Loc Map" feature, and while I originally added it, it took the help of lots of players "mapping zones (https://wiki.project1999.com/Adding_a_Loc_Map)" to make it work for all the zones it works in ...

... and there are still plenty of zones it doesn't yet work in.
