I never saw the previous ruling regarding the crypt. I asked people to link me to the thread and no one would. The way camps are defined you'd think it could actually be 4 or even 5 camps. This appears to be an anomaly. I was nothing but cordial to the group during the incident and politely relinquished the camp once I was definitively informed that it is in fact one camp.

We are expected to share trash exp mobs. Like Mardur said, everyone in KC who is worth two shits knows that anything that isn't a named and is unengaged is fair game to be pulled by anyone.

And not only that, according to the statement from Uthgaard regarding not even being able to technically camp anything but nameds (in a single room) and not being able to camp nameds that spawn in multiple locations at all, people can't even technically claim KC Dog Captain. I usually don't like to quote posts from the staff as scripture and stuff, but seriously, people spend all their time complaining in /say instead of finding another pull. Probably 80% of the people who have a problem with me on the server have it because of that camp, so I figured I'd mention it. Time to get over it, people. If I'm sitting there in a good duo clearing them all and someone rolls up and takes one I left up too long, good for them. You fucking defensive whiners need to adopt the same attitude and get over it.

Technically, a room = a camp and by the rules crypt would be 5 different camps. So if you wanted to sit on a specific named room and claim it as yours, the GMs would probably just rage and kill everyone in the zone because you're wasting their time with whiney petitions.

No amount of "stolen" trash exp mobs will change my opinion of anyone. If you really feel you're getting a sour enough deal you should move somewhere else. Don't hate. Don't try to claim that some of these are yours. If it's not a static named and it's not engaged, it's not yours. You claim a mob by engaging it durrr. I refuse to acknowledge a single complaint regarding an untouched trash experience mob from this point forward. Look, I'm not going out of my way to cockblock you. In most places I won't even come looking through your camp. But in KC, I'm sorry, anything goes. Most people goto KC because it is good experience per effort at most places and it is relatively easy. If I don't pull that mob someone else is probably going to pull it. If we let one group/duo/whatever claim Dog Captain you'd just have 6 different groups picking off mobs during peak hours. As far as I'm concerned, in a situation such as that, it is first come first serve. The strict observance of camps in such a zone at such a time is NEVER going to happen. Like I said, I don't like putting you out - I wish there were enough mobs for everybody all the time (sometimes). There aren't. I want a disproportionate amount of mobs or whatever that is indicative of my relative skill level and effort. If you're going to be a lazy worthless slow fuck, you deserve to lose a few mobs to me, no offense. Yesterday Wurli and I were freely pulling mobs from KC Dog Captain along with this mage/cleric duo (Gnomb was the mage I do believe). Neither of us were claiming captain. When we saw a dog pop we went for it and it was first come first serve, pulls were respected. It was fun as hell, honestly, racing this little gnome for these huge dogs. And when we ran out of mobs we would hit up some undeads that were left standing elsewhere. It was an amicable but competitive encounter that I enjoyed profusely and I think they did too. What's funny is that when I afked for like 2 minutes to goto the bathroom some group moved in, started claiming the camp, and then Muzyn started griefing us by charming mobs we had clearly engaged first and nearly killed. No hard feelings, dumbfuck.

So I maybe rambled a little bit. Please people, just shut up about mobs you are too slow to pull first. Someone else deserves them more.

This one time I was soloing in KC, and I'd pull the sentries that spawned under the Captain bridge. There was a group parked there ( on the bridge) but I was snaring single mobs, and pulling them away from anyone else to root/dot them. After a few pulls a bard in captain camp begins to charm my pulls and tells me that they belong to captain camp. I proceeded to tell him that from my understanding those mobs were FFA and first to engage gets them. His name was Giegue. He actually stole a few mobs from me like that, gotta love Karnor's castle though right. I know I'll avoid that moron from now on, even if hes in my group I'd prolly leave.

It is my belief that most of the server shares my opinion and chooses to remain silent on it! It's pretty clear that almost every one of you complaining has a problem with me from the KC dog captain camp. Where are the other 2000 players that do the exact same thing that I do? And from that I've concluded that if you boast about stealing mobs, not only do you not respect camps but that you're exactly the type to quote forum rules after having blatantly disrespected players in-game. just the little side room that hiero spawns in. If he pulled it off it would turn crypt into like 4 camps, each named being its own.

Have you ever been to crypt? The main area is a room with 4 doors and a roamer with 2 clerics as guards. The roamer can be a named and each mob behind the 4 doors can be a named.

Going on what the GMs have said in other threads these people seemed to believe that because they weren't in the room that the Crypt group was currently in they could claim the Heiro mob/PH because the room didn't currently have any PCs in it.

I posted a thread earlier in RnF asking why GMs don't just take the approach that SoE does and make every mob FCFS and let the community sort out the camps and the bickering. They pulled it a couple minutes later for some reason but I feel that would be a much better way of addressing these issues.
