1. Will they ever allow custom UIs like Duxa... i miss duxa lol.

2. When do 8 hotkeys arrive... if ever on green?

3. Will target cycle ever be implemented? I understand there's a conversation about it here on the forum but it was all user based. I'm curious to know the reality of what is in the plans if anyone knows about actual development rather than your opinion.

I'm sure i have more, but just curious about these mechanics/features for now.

Man tab cycling would be huge. Not only for CC but for multiple other things. Mouse targetting is so crappy in classic EQ.

I'd also argue that it is an accessibility issue, making it difficult for people with disabilities to participate in the game.

What disabilities in particular? Just playing the game requires copious use of the mouse, it’s inherent in the design.

I've actually setup my system to minimize mouse use because I'm on a laptop and the trackpad sucks. Arrow keys for looking up/down and strafe plus as many hotkeys setup as I can. The reduction in hotbutton bars and slots has made life much more difficult for this and the target key changes as well. So yeah it can be done without a mouse but it is pretty tough to be affective at this point with all the changes.

Quality of life stuff like target cycling should just be left in! Like others have said the click targeting is really bad.

What disabilities? Anything that affects motor function. Let's say not having 2 hands as an easy example.

I don't think it was the designers intention to exclude people. One of the best things about D&D and roleplaying games is that it's very inclusive. I'd say it's in the best interest of P99 to not deliberately exclude people with disabilities for the sole purpose of keeping things classic.

They’re not deliberately excluding people. You could say nearly any game “deliberately excludes people” since the vast majority require two hands to play. Likely have to train themselves to use a one-handed keyboard/mouse, but it’s doable (pic attached). Tab targeting doesn’t do away with the necessity to use a mouse.

This is gonna sound shitty so let me apologize in advance.

The main goal of P99 is to recreate something from the 90s. The 90s sucked for a lot of different people, people with disabilities included. In order to be accurate, you need to recreate the parts that suck along with the parts that were great.

yea we should have random disconnects every 10-60 mins and make the client say "Goodbye"

It sure would make the game possible for some people.
