Now that the Teal server hardware is freed up let us have a server where GMs/Guides only show up for GM events and abstain from assistance and minor enforcement. Where camp disputes, ninjalooters, and PNP violations are handed by the community. Where gambling is legal in the tunnel. Where /guildwar exists. Where /list does not. Where the Kraken of Rathe swims free.

Now that the servers merged, I was looking for he handle on this toilet.

Players who want to transfer to Black can type /flush to be sent there.

Please. Go.

Mostly dead servers with hackers literally on every server.

And yet to my great surprise The Experience on this forum makes that sound not so bad. If I hadn't played it for so long and knew for a fact that it's absolute crap I might give it a shot

Will keep all the snowflakes away. I hate them invading the server.

Give me 100pp. Roll /random 1000. If it lands on 777, you win a fungi. Or I log off.

This sounds like a interesting idea. I would definitely try out this server. Think of the glorious RnF that could result.

Mr. Highfalutin Jubal. Feel that blast of hot air!

I trust you about as far as I can throw you.

I agree with this.

There should be a P99 server where there are no rules. Just good classic EQ fun.

The uneducated would say a server like this would devolve into a Monk/SK/Necro fuck fest of trains and Feign Death gimmicks, but I honestly think a hardcore server ruleset would be more self-policing than people would care to admit. You can only shit on each other for so long before agreements have to be made.

Okay. This actually sounds like it'd be really fun or really fucking terrible.

That said. With your weird imaginary system, how is hacking dealt with? 12 - Boxing?

Or do you like.. want to have .... what are those things called...? Oh right.. rules

Oh shit, now this is getting complicated. Looks like we're just in a mental jerk off thread now.

I'm out.

If they do make this happen it should be a requirement that Dark Men Of Odus be forced to transfer there out of sheer baller status

ppl can play craps for money using the /random roll, and converting the values of the numbers rolled into the game of craps (dice).

I have no idea why this is illegal, however I am a compulsive gambler so I see the demon in the issue. Anyways, I know while it's not like they are hunting you down, if you try to set up a little game, everybody will snitch on you quick fast.

It’s super easy to run an RMT scheme if you have lots of cash trading hands with nothing in return.

No known instances on the 4 years gambling was legal during P99 blue or classic live servers*

There's something that actually makes RMT schemes 100x easier than laundering plat in highly visible trades with an advertised max bet amount and /randoms that can be monitored by 100 people standing around you.

They could draw a large crowd if announced if announced some time in advance though.

But really a server without rules would be the best. Players will police themselves.

Since that teal hardware was freed up seems like a great time to open a new server.

Most fun I’ve ever had playing eq was the no rule discord server. I’ve said it many times. It would be awesome if something like that could run for a 2 month period, twice a year with major prizes. The only problem was how it eventually degenerated into a hack fest on live. So I would say only rule- no hacking.

Probably more likely there were issues with people lying about how much they bet, or when the time came to pay someone would /q.

While these problems may be fixable to some extent I'd imagine the number of petitions made it too much of a headache.
