People are stupid and people do stupid things. Not for us to decide how they live their lives, just let them be.

Because Kunark isn't out for a long time, its still valuable until level 50 in old world zones even after its released, Its fun to use, and with regen from various classes like bards, druids, or rubicite BP it gives you near infinite mana.

If you don't know why, don't worry about it, and don't camp one. Leave more spots open for those of us who know why. Thank you.

I want it because I want to bond with people doing the same thing. We all go mad together. The stone is just a memento.

Is this an actual post? Flexing like you knew about Manastone when you saw the first EQ trailer in 1998. Min/Max mentality. You just want a dopemine rush that you got something you know will be nerfed (per classic timeline) so you can be OP an be 300k pp richer. Stop kidding yourself. You're 38, dude. The kids need their dad back.

You obviously get one so you can trade it for items, or if you're not good enough to get one you'll need to buy/trade to get one.

Case in point https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=347596

Because it's a list item. Wouldn't have bothered with rubi bp but then it became a list item. List items must be crazy valuable because they are /list.

I wanted to be 200k richer in this era. But I decided to hook up a guildy.

Its true that i'm OP now even before raiding. Feelsfun

And i'm not 38.

Nice gear.

So, in kunark/velious as a druid, can I bind in a raid, teleport to the old world, manastone to full, and gate back?

TIL people think sitting on a /list is a skill worth boasting about.

I don't agree with the other stuff, but this made me sad :(

Have a Manastone on Blue, it's a neat toy, has its uses, but it's not all that game changing. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but it seems to me the only class that can make the most of it is a Wizard and only if they're epiced. It's a nice panic button for solo casters in old world zones, a druid with fungi can med faster and a cleric can do anything with it outside of Kunark+ and the planes, but it's not that special. I wouldn't sell it cuz it's a legacy toy, but I wouldn't tell anyone to hurt themselves getting one either. For most casters the flowing thought items are better.

Once it stops dropping and I feel ready to sell, I will make a video of what you can do with a manastone in order to increase the potential price at which I may sell it. But not until then, lest the camp be overwhelmed with eager adventurers ready to stay up for days exchanging tangible life for temporal mana.

You obviously get one so you can trade it for items, or if you're not good enough to get one you'll need to buy/trade to get one.

Like button clicking skills, sitting skills, sleep deprivation skills, typing skills (if you're "/list afk XXXX" has typo it will NOT work), friend/family/wife/child/work avoidance skills, online-buddy-to-stand-in-for-you skills...

The /list greenhorn truly underestimate the breadth, depth, and real-life transferability of such skills. /list champions are heroes, and truly deserve the legacy item for which they toiled, using skills and executing such feats only seen at the highest level of gamerdom.

They deserve the legacy item (an era defining item, that will forever be minted in legacy, no longer to recreated or attained by the common masses); for people that possess and employ such skills are they themselves leaving a lasting legacy of significance; a life of impact - for being so endowed how could they not? Their names will be written down in the history books, even sung about by future bards.

So you can endeavor to become such a man, such a woman... or you can get one for the low low price of 199,950. PST.

Because for many people, after having played 100+ characters, a manastone is the only thing left they haven't done

The tongue-in-cheek self-deprecation at the insanity of actually listing for a Mana Stone is beyond cringe-worthy.

I didn't even want a manastone. Ended up accidentally camping it one day and went from #4 on list to getting a stone drop within 9 hours. It's just sitting in my inventory doing a whole lotta nothing now

I got one on my druid during classic era -- it helped me main heal a sol b bats / bugs group by myself since druids fall off a cliff in healing values.

I'm sure people desire such an item for only upright reasons and don't have a hospital full of coronavirii blackmarketers to sell it to.
