The short answer to your question is a resounding guttural YEEEEEEEEESSSSS

You will never be mentally well and also 'succeed' on P99, the two do not coexist

Everquest is a game of time sinks... some large, others larger. The unwashed unemployed and work from home folks have dominated P99 for its entire existence, this will not change, nor should it change really.

in fact, it only gets worse in Kunark, and then worsier in Velious. This is the time in the life span where casuals at least have a modicum of a chance at experiencing what it's like to "be on top". This will soon and forever change.

Incredible time sinks - check
4 am batphones - check
Hardcores shaming casuals - check
Pixel starvation to 75% of the server - check

Simulated Respawn
Minions gather, their forms appearing as time and space coalesce...
A simulated server restart, simulated respawn, or EarthQuake causes all mobs, including raid targets, to respawn. It is manually triggered by a staff member such as Rogean or Nilbog.[1]

"Earthquakes" are designed to simulate the classic experience of EverQuest servers being taken down temporarily for maintenance, which resulted in fresh mobs when the server came online.

As of 11/18/18:
0-3 Simulated Respawns will occur each month; 1-3 being the normal amount,
and 0 existing as a possibility if Rogean or Nilbog cannot do them at all.

Yes, they have to manually pull the lever cause they couldn't automate it. And the owners are American and they're not going to wake up at 3am just so some European autists can hurl magic missiles at 4-bit frogloks
