Quick question to all you veteran players, can a paladin solo the manastone camp? If they can around what level should I attempt it? Also does anyone know when the manastone camp will go away?
Thanks a bunch ladies & gents
I'm sure a 45+ paladin has a reasonable chance -- if they have a mith 2 hander at least.

Yea because when you get to the camp no one will be there right?
Honestly tho evil eye casts nasty spells if you are on the ball with interrupts yea 50 but the chances of him winning while you have low dps are pretty good.
Yeah, I know people will be there. I just want to know what level I should be to solo it, incase no one helps. Know what I mean?

yea 1h and a shield actually you need the bash, the mob is a wizard
you cant rely on stun spells if one misses
Bash only interrupts spell casting around 30% of the time. if you have several levels on a mob your stuns should land pretty reliably.
Even if bash interrupts casting, the mob is often just going to start another nuke anyway.

I highly doubt you'll need to solo it by yourself. I haven't done the camp myself yet, but I have to imagine there's almost always (if not always) going to be people there who want it dead. I've heard that it is being removed in May.

I think it's just that fear that somehow, in a rare occurrence, you'll end up #1 with nobody that can help behind you, and you'll be forced to either give it up or wait for assistance. I did Jboots on one of my toons when a level 25 was behind me, and he was so concerned about being left solo that I stuck around for another hour or so after I got my boots until the people behind him decided to pitch in. There were others listed, but one was a Rogue that was just hiding there 100% AFK and the other was off farming things in the prison.

Yeah, people definitely can suck and be stupid (and they can sometimes be good like in your example of helping out). I feel like if I were in the situation where I'm #1 and nobody is helping me and I can't solo it, then I'll just leave it there and out-afk them. If no one wants to help then no one gets the item.

A 50 Paladin piloted by a competent player will have Zero issues killing PHers and the Eye for hours solo.

49+ Paladin would be ideal for the two stun spells will be pretty crucial to ensure Shaman fights don't involve 3-4x their total HP due to heals going through the one stun + bash gap. Also, same for the nasty Wizard nukes from the Evil-Eye.

At level 40 with Ghoulbane and high AC gear it was very close, maybe doable if you heal yourself but probably not. At lvl 43+ you probably could.
