This is probably the best argument for why lists should not have been implemented. If there was no list then the more casual players would not even bother trying and that is probably for the best for the sake of their own health.

If the lists had not been implemented though GMs should have made a rule stating that they will not respond to any legacy item related petitions and let people sort it out themselves.

Yeah, I'm over it though. I was just sleep-deprived, bored, and angry from a drought of the item dropping so came to shitpost to fill some of the time. Do I feel stupid for spending 18 hours to camp the item? Definitely. But there are worse things I could've done with my time I guess.

Jboots. Joined list at 5. In first 5 hours three dropped so I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad and the company was jovial and lively. Also managed to pick up a couple FBSs. The next 13 hours only saw 1 drop, but because I had sunk so much time already I felt obligated to see it through and it felt torturous.

They ended up being more useful than I had imagined they would be so even less regret now. I also was worried it would fuck up my sleep schedule and take me time to fix, but I was fine getting 4 hours of sleep and now I'll be sleeping at a normal time it seems like.
