I agree, if I ran the server I'd have quaked around 9 PM EST xmas eve then again around 11 AM xmas morning. See who the real hardcores are and how many wives start accounts to post in rants and flames.

Ditto. At the same time, they ARE the most hardcore fans so rewarding them is the right thing to do. Well, it is considering that paying for the required marriage counseling and/or medication is a tad outside P99's budget.

For a moment I thought you were going to state how many "wives" would create accounts to ask for I.P. exemptions to play.

P99 has the highest density of wives, sons, daughters, cousin's etc that play with their 35 year old white male family members in any mmo world wide.

(P.s. it really doesnt).

No EXP bonus is likely because it’s too early for Green, and Green players would whine too much. Easier to just avoid it entirely.

Quake seems possible?

We had a patch a couple of weeks ago. The purpose of the quakes was to simulate patches in a sense. We are getting property timed patches here I do not think we will get/should expect quakes for a while.

Servers went down pretty much weekly on live, resetting all mobs. It wasn’t only on content patches.

I honestly don't recall a week that the servers didn't go down until like PoP or LDoN. I can't imagine how guilds rotated mobs with such server volatility.

They went down even more often than that during this vanilla green era, I think. By Velious it was like the typical once a week Tuesday AM PST downtime as I recall. And if they really wanted to mimic classic downtime that would be the quaking times, not primetime weekends, but like noon EST weekdays.
