Gynok Moltor

I have camped Gynok Moltor for over 20 hours straight and it hasnt spawn even once.. what the holy mother of tunare is this? I am finding this really ridiculous.. is there any plans to adjust the spawn rate of Gynok Moltor like what was done to ancient cylops and Pyzjn or is this just working as intended..

I camped him for 12 to 13 hrs and i got him once....

If something doesn't drop for me in the first couple of hours, I give up. I don't know how people have patience to camp something for 20 or 30, or even 50 hours. I'd much rather be a filthy, stupid casual with garbage gear.

i just walked in one day and came back from afk at the ent to zone and my pet killed it, i looted it and had no idea what it was for till about 3 months later when i made a druid. Seems like a pretty easy camp to me, i think you're just doing it wrong.

- Last week I tryed to camp this asshole for 18h+ (didnt got it)
- was mad on the next day
- camp was taken I wanted to try my luck again
- went to CT and joined AoF camp as #3
- got my rubicite BP under 2h...
- was happy again, but also still mad about yesterday
- another day later I tryed to cam Gynok Moltor again
- got the ring after 6-8h?!
- was happy to finaly leave the dungeon

side note, I buffed, healed and rezed so many "noobs" there that people put me on their friendlist

Just imagine, you could have driven to the closest ski resort (assume 3 hours), skied for 10 hours, partied in the lodge for four hours, driven home, and still had four hours of sleep before going to work hungover.

other options for 20 hours:

Produce a whole series of beautiful watercolors
Build a complex model in 3DS Max and 3D print it
Finish most of the foremast rigging on a 1/48 brig
Raft the Upper and Lower Gaullie, do a lot of drinking between the two, and have a horrible wipeout at Sweet's Falls
Learn to fly and solo around 12 hours
Drive someplace, taken your dog hiking for 12 hours, had dinner and beers at some totally random hole in the wall in some tiny town, four hours sleep, work hungover
Had a whole series of adventures with the SO and earned massive bonus points
ODed on Viagra and banged somebody until you both passed out and needed EMT assistance

If you want to stay in a game...
Gained a significant understanding of orbital mechanics in Kerbal Space Program such that space news and documentaries make waaaaay more sense
Learned a shitload of Medieval history in Europa Universalis IV
Built a complex, galaxy-spanning empire in Stellaris
Design and test an aircraft from scratch in X-Plane, that if built in the real world would fly just fine
Learn a considerable amount about the Milky Way and our Local Group of galaxies in Space Engine

If I was going to "camp him", I'd level up a couple alts in befallen but not play them if someone is camping him. Have my main character logged out/bound in befallen to kill him the moment he pops.

That's how i got mine back in the day. And ya he was really rare. It wasn't unusual to not even see him for an entire 24 hour period.

Yeah, a bit too rare for my taste considering the value of the item. I'd rather just level and get money and buy it from someone that went to the trouble of sitting at this camp.

This is the case with pretty much every item in the game that is from a rare spawn.

I mean, kind of. What is a paw worth atm on green/teal? 1k or something? If you need to camp it for 12 hours, could you have gotten that while also getting xp somewhere, why not do that? If the item is worth something significantly on green/teal than you can usually farm in that time, then sure, it's probably worth the potentially long camp. That's just how I consider what things I want to camp. I don't expect others will think the same way I do.

Gynok / paw quest is like a main classic camp for any wisdom caster IMO, needs to be done at least once in your play time
