Gonna need an exp per hour + item drop spreadsheet to decide whether or not your observation has merit. Also, many of the people in Oasis were probably leveled to 14-16 off CB Belts/Pads or Deathfist Belts, so you're just some random ubers heal and buff bot or DPS bitch.

I just hit 49 today. Had a blast since level 1, enjoyed it more when i moved to Teal. I see most of the trouble come from Green!

Obviously fun is subjective. I'm enjoying the game quite a bit at a nice leisurely pace myself so far. I am definitely behind the curve as well. Got my ranger about half a bub from 21 and a level 5 wizard now for when I need a change of pace.

I'm sure many of the high levels are having a blast though too!

If you don't plan to level alts and just want to follow the "server timeline" with a single main, then 1 level per week is probably sufficient.

I've been enjoying myself casually with alts and my highest in mid 20's. I don't see 35-50 being fun at all with limited space to breath, and for that reason I have no intention to rush into the insanity just to get fed up and leave until Kunark.

Seriously though:
Much of the whining about lists and high end content is from the low lvls that aren't doing it, that are jealous of those who are. So obviously not everyone in the scrub army is happy to see farming bone chips to pay for banded armor as the height of elite content.

Personally I enjoy pushing myself to level faster and get loot, and don't much care what makes others happy. Not sure why so many feel the need to try to push their view of 'fun' onto others.

All I can say is that my guildies that are in the 40s for the last 3 weeks struggle every day to find groups. While everyone else is catching up and getting groups and playing.
