I play a Warrior and a Cleric on Teal. I want to get a bare minimum visible bronze set for them, one small, one medium. What prices are people paying to buy bronze?

I.e. Helmet, Chest, Arms, one Bracer, Gaunts, Greaves, Boots

Followup: What dungeons drop which? I hear conflicting reports on Medium and Small sizes

It varies but I think its close to 1 plat per ac plus maybe 1 or 2 plat thrown in so say the piece is 20ac you could likely find it for 20-22pp. I think small drops in unrest and medium I think in castle mistmoore.

Well, my recollection is that during classic it was always 1pp per AC for Banded and 2pp per AC for bronze. But people on p99 have smartened up to bronzes big drawbacks (weight) so maybe just do 1p per AC for bronze as well.

I've seen it go for 1-2 pp per ac on teal.

Seen it sold and been selling it for 1.5 to 2 plat per AC. Seems really common to sell it for that on green.

I would not pay more than 1.5p per AC. Check the undeads in Rathe Mountains also, think the barbed skeletons drop it.

I've sold large bronze for 2p per AC, it seems more rare though.

Doh. Did you give up the Ranger?

Doh. Did you give up the Ranger?

My ranger is 14 and stripped. I found I like warrior better, which I never would have imagined. Something weird is clicked in me where I think that I truly enjoy specialist classes over broad classes. I'm basically enjoying a cleric and Warrior here and on blue I had a wizard and a bard which may seem like a jack of all trades but by Design are unique in the toolbox as a whole. Also this is a really bizarre thing but I like critically hitting an unusually large amount.

Nice :) Glad you're enjoying it.

1.5pp per AC is the going rate on Green, but it can be had for less. Anyone charging 2pp per AC is going to be sitting on a lot of unsold bronze.

I was just going to give slightly better than vebdor price :p

I've been buying it for about 1.2-1.5pp per piece for my SK.

I've sold about 40 pieces of bronze including chest pieces of all sizes for 35plat, rest for 2plat per ac, here and there in the last two weeks. Chest pieces sold pretty much instantly (especially large bronze) as did most visible bronze pieces. But none of it took long to sell. Occasionally, someone would offer me lower for an off piece, what equated to about 1.5 plat per and I'd sell.

What race did you wind up going for warrior? Dark Elf? I'm also playing a human ranger and thinking about rolling a warrior alt. Stuck between Dark Elf, Troll and Barbarian.

I went human for now, but if I dont get guise for em... maybe ill change to DE later.. maybe, but I also like human warriors. Honestly, something drew me to not go the typical large race, I felt like a naked weak human, who gets tougher and tougher with each piece of gear felt more dramatic to me. It reminded me of playing Kenshi, so I am actually naming him Cenki Kenshi

you will miss slam and reroll some day... ^^
no spell interrupt and no stopping runners is really missing on one of the most important part of being a warrior, and doing equipment switching for Bash means you can't 2HX, so your dps is shit, so is your aggro. unless you can be level 55+ with stun-kick, which you can't atm. Bash/Slam is just very important as a warrior :(

(i'm not race shaming tho, play what you think has the best fashionquest)

i, too, would like to know where medium bronze drops tho! if anyone knows?
Castle Mistmoore is small bronze.

I have been randomly giving away stuff like banded and bronze armor pieces to people sitting at the orc camps in EC. Getting 10-15p and trying to sell it for half an hour seems like a waste compared to making someone happy to have a new piece of gear.

Don't sweat it Cen.. my ogre warrior slam doesn't stun often enough to matter.

Its fine, with Warrior, I know what the real truth is. People argue about penalties, radials, and minmax.. but with warriors, it really doesn't fucking matter. Ogres, Halflings, Trolls, Iksar, Barbarians, racials, stat aggregate, etc. Makes a huge change in some classes. In terms of fatties, SK's and Shamans really want those great racials.. but warriors don't give two craps about slight regen, or even post 50 regen, or even frontal immunity, or even slam.

What matters with a warrior is looking fantastic in plate, defensive discipline, stunning kicks, having a thirst for battle, and knowing as Naethyn once said "In the beginning, a Warrior can do nothing, but by the end, they can do everything"

Oh, and here is one of my favorite topics ever posted on the board by Troxx:

Usually 1p per AC is the norm in EC. I tried selling mine for a couple days, no takers so just vendored it. Not huge demand so you could probably work a deal lol...

On Blue, I always sold it for 1p per AC. But it seems here I see it more and more for 2pp ac. Though not sure if it is selling or not.
