The boats...i'm not going to stare at my screen for 25+ minutes every time I need to cross the ocean. My brother, and both friends I convinced to start characters have both quit because the of always getting group invites that require waiting for the boat but never where they are. Personally...the fact that every time I wait on the boat I have a minimum wait of 20 minutes just kills me. Once out of 10 boat rides I have had a shorter than 20 minute wait, and i've missed the boat at least 5 times because I am not going to sit there looking at my screen for 25 minutes.

Then don't play on a classic server? I'm confused.
Bye?

I love the boat. Me and my buddy were tired of Faydwer and set sale to the promising and dangerous Desert of Ro. The boat trip created a distinct sense of tension (sexual and otherwise).
Keep boats the way they are!

Did you explain to your brother and the two friends that they should not accept group invites that involve 25 minute travel times or were you like oh yeah definitely accept those requests? I mean I guess it's the latter because you're also complaining.

Went LD while zoning in OoT on a boat. Laughed it off and decided to swim the whole thing for fun. Swim skill said thanks. I like the boats personally.

Smoke a bowl and max out Divination. Otherwise you can take the griffin to the next linear quest line.

Rather than travel 25 minutes, it’s better to wait in line for a more local group or camp for 25 minutes.

So with the incredible advantage of four available players, none of you thought to play a porting class.
Well, thanks for stopping by, zoomer tourists. Back to your wasteland you go. LOUD NOISES FUNNY!

You could have become fishing gods, but instead you sat there.
You could have been a campfire baking god but instead you just sat there.
You could have formed a group close to your location but ...

Don’t worry. As more druids and wizards reach 29 and 34, ports will become more available and probably cheaper. People will take the boats less and less (unfortunate for those of us who like a boat ride from time to time). Norrath will get smaller.

Keep boats the way they are! Lmfao... i'm laughing at the otherwise part, the sexual part is fine and normal ;)
I have been getting ports from druids for the past two days all over the place. Someone do it for pocket change so I'm confused why you don't just port.
Even better just don't join a group that's 30+ mins away from current location.
Have turned down plenty of group invites because I'm not about to make the run over.

In the elf justice system, bad player based offenses are considered especially heinous. In Erudin, the dedicated scribes who investigate these vicious bad players are members of an elite squad known as the < Dark Men of Odus > . These are their stories.

I like the boat ride and waiting on the docks while other people show up. Feels more like a journey too cause it takes time to travel. And you don't need to constantly use it anyway. You're traveling to a new continent and should stay there for a while.
