It would be silly to launch a new Red at the same time as Green's launch, though, if you think about Project 1999 overall. If they launch a new Red, it should be sometime during Kunark or Velious of Green. See what I mean?

Green's population was like double what Blue's was the week before Green's release so we'd have like.... 30 people on the new Red server.

A new red server would actually have a decent population I bet. If they announce it a month or so early to let the word spread and garner attention.

Ded99 is gross, but old school pvp was pretty solid and even a casual could have fun. The autist gank squads didn't have as much of an edge yet.

With that said, you can count me out.

I‘ve been monitoring Project 1999 recently in hopes of a PvP Teams announcement. I started on Tunare and felt EQ was missing PVP. I moved to Vallon Zek which was cool, but cross team guilds took away from the role play. I then discovered Sullon Zek which was the best PVP experience. I thought the teams lined up nicely, with each securing certain areas and ways to survive. Strong players would even decide to join the lesser teams as a challenge or to find more victims. I definitely tried PVP on Project 1999. It was dead and boring like everyone has said. People enjoy a team aspect like Dark Age of Camelot or World of Warcraft. They should give a PvP Teams server a shot.
