Would you want to see all end of life servers merge to the same place?

i.e. merge Green to Blue when it reaches post Velious, and Green 2.0 when it reaches end of life as well, etc?

I assume Green/Teal won't have years worth of unclassic Seafuries like Blue did. That's where most of the raw plat on the server originated from.

They'll have a significantly higher average lifetime population though. I wouldn't be surprised if green economy and mudflation for all tradeable loot is the same as blue at the end of greens half-as-long lifetime.

Blue went years with under 400 peak population.

if Green and Teal merge you'll have at least double the expected legacy items and general loot for the time they were separate, but "muh classic economy and 100plat+ words".

Green/Teal are on a crash course towards the same thing. Merging them is the only long term answer which is sustainable for p99. Also, the market will normalize in short order after a merge.

Yea I don't get the logic:

"Blue being around for too long ruined the economy"

Why not merge the Blue characters, naked, with the rest? That way you leave the economic issues behind but don't also lose your characters in the process.

I would personally not do this... I'd be fine leaving plat etc. but for example I got my epic and wouldn't want to recamp those things.

Once Green becomes locked it becomes a rot server anyway, all the pearl clutching of people who think their locked server will remain classic after they'll be farming Velious for years again is kind of hilarious.

I think each new green should merge into the green before it, blue will have almost 15yrs once green ends cycle.... and tons of RMT, cross server trading, no limit mob AoE PLing, early platinum exploits of all kinds like scripts running to buy certain items that sold for more than it cost to buy, etc... all of this stuff atleast can be prevented or atleast largely mitigated on green 1 and future greens. Sure people will get more manastones this go around but supply vs demand on cost. Blue should stay separated

And keeping it separate benefits who? Casual players? Or the people who are talking about circumventing /list and boxing rules using screen sharing with their friends to monopolize Green's economy?

It's a rot server in 3 years time it's kind of funny how worried people are about preserving their future rot servers moral integrity.

Blue will have had 13 years of over farming and beta fuckery going on once the merge is being considered. Plus mountains of gear that was gained under a different ruleset with at many times completely different QOL situations.

This answer really doesn't scale well. Merge everything into a singular server just means you're creating a second place with a saturated market. P99 is not going to do this. Merge all end of life characters on to one server and let the markets normalize. It will happen quickly.

The amount of accounts rotting or banned has made that pretty insignificant. In 3 years time people merging into Blue from Green will create a new economy.

It doesn't matter what you say, the people who desperately hate on Blue and pine for a "pure" green server are the ones who lost out being big dogs on Blue or got their big dog accounts banned on Blue and are hoping to monopolize the Green economy.... merging will weaken their pixel death grip, like the people who are double farming manastones on Green and Teal and calling their double items classic or screen sharing to circumvent boxing and list rules.
