[Help] Mage Pet Level 24

This is going to be a short thread.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do. Words of Dimension are ~30p each, trivial at 62, but skill is 45 at level 24.

Is there not a 24th pet for sale? None of them? I thought I read that Earth was, but can't seem to track it down.

Can anyone currently playing a mage level 24+ share some insight on what I should do currently.

Sounds like the words could be more expensive than the combined pet? Definitely people trying to make some plat out there.

If you're not grouping already, start grouping. Use the best pet you do have, and most people probably won't notice anyway. Ask if you can take any mage words that drop.

Mage pets 24+ are not on the vendors. You will need to combine the components needed to create the specific pet spell using research skill. You can click skill points into research from a trainer but only so many per level, you will never reach high enough skill to make your current pet so you will need a higher level mage with enough research skill to successful combine the components. Note that even after memorizing the 24 pet, you will need to create another 24 pet to make the 29 pet, you will need another 29 pet to make the 34 pet, and so on... Save your money to buy words off people. Good luck!

Necros are in the same boat, if it makes you feel any better. The 24 pet is definitely worth having for them.

Allure + Detachment are the two rarer of the 3 words. Be sure to either pass them to a nearby grateful necro or charge him 50pp each <3

well same far from same boat but similar.
Our pets just don't exist after 34.

hit up higher level mages for combine, i am never anon it will be a plesure to help lower mages.
