I've gotta say, I've been surprised how few people I've seen in CT so far. I would have thought it'd be packed with people chasing Rubicite.
Forumquesters, what do we think the future of CT holds? Will it become a hotspot as people level up, or a zone that will only get farmed like WTOV until it gets nerfed?

Prolly mostly farmed. We already knew most people don't venture out of their comfort zone for group exping. It wont be different (often) because of rubicite drops.

No hate for CT, just isn't somewhere you can turn up at and put your LFG tag on if you're solo/pugging.
Has anyone found any rubicite yet?

There was at least 1 rubi bp already.

Unfortunately the ZEMS are active on p99 so everyone migrates to the high ZEM zones

CB>UNREST>HIGHKEEP? That will take you from lvl7-50 right?
Rangers and druids will be having a great time 40+ pulling CT / Grobb. Eventually "twink" gear will exist and the exp treadmill spots will get up and running.
Right now CT is just both out of the way and more desirable, obviously, for classes that just don't exist in either numbers or at the levels necessary to crush it.

rotate the zems
THIS is the first custom content I'd like to see. I'm not sure that taking away current ZEMS are going to create a positive experience for most, but give temporary boosts to some others. No need to build new zones when there are existing ones we hardly touch due to ZEMS.

rotate the zems
This x 100. So sick of the same meta areas being packed and the less zem areas being ghost. Wouldn’t be game breaking to switch it up occasionally.

BP is not a super rare drop.and Avatar is not a super rare spawn. It's reasonable that a 6 man group could get everyone a BP in like 8 hours if the spawn was uncontested.

Wait until the tanks start getting into the 30s. Most of us are late teens right now.

There are still vey few 30+ players, CT will be fillled up eventually.
People always make excuses when behavior doesn't line up with what they think is supposed to happen. It doesn't matter how many tanks get to 30, this zone isn't going to be filled up by exp groups. People will hit 50 then farm it to make money. In the other thread people tried to deflect on the guk issue by saying it's because of loot... that is not why people go to zones to level. they go for exp per hour

It's kind of a shitty leveling dungeon. I hit all the dungeons when I leveled up my last toon on blue and CT-which I love- was the roughest. Uneven mob levels, a lot of healers, healing through walls, runners with a maze on one side and a tunnel giant races cant fight in. Undercon's, lots and lots of undercon's vs dungeons with less problems.
It doesn't really matter how hard it is if people want that BP hard enough... have you people met the p99 pop?

I would love to see ZEMs being rotated. It makes me kind of sad to think that so many people are missing out on a richer, more varied experience of classic just because of static ZEMs.

Can someone tell me the group range for CT? I'm gonna be making some groups in unused dungeons soon I hope. Permafrost and hoping CT. It seems like mid 20s would be fine for CT based on levels but sometimes things are undercons and such.
You run into lvl 30ish mobs, including plenty of clerics, pretty much immediately. Rough.

Nah, you can pull from the maze at 20ish and courtyard can be done at like 16. throne room or the square open area can be done like 25 or 30ish. I had a character on a tlp that I leveled only through ct... the lack of a map is the main thing on p99 that makes pulling from the maze difficult.
edit: I actually think I didn't have a map when I pulled from it on a tlp either. Tbh the zone is doable with a good puller who knows what they're doing but you're still sacrificing some zem.

This squares with my experiences there on Blue as a duo, with the caveat that maze can still suffer from wall heals unless you set up somewhere with no Pages nearby; I liked the wizard portal although you have to keep track of Radiant's spawntimer or risk Backstabs. If you go past the courtyard toward Avatar pyramid, you are running a gauntlet of wall heals, See Invisible, and inexplicably overleveled mobs. The alligator pits are cancerous as well with their linked aggro.

Was in the maze at 24 today. Saw yellow cons in both directions and noped the hell out of there. I seriously doubt you'd want to fuck around in there at 20ish.
The courtyard mobs were green when I was there at 19 (I think) a week ago, so probably blue cons at 16.

Yeah, this is pretty accurate. Wizard pyramid area or right outside the maze are good spots to pull from. The zone isn't actually very hard, it's just not as rewarding as guk.

Sounds like the perfect level if yellow cons are around. A group of 6 should not be killing mobs 5-6 levels lower than them, XP will be complete balls. High blues thru yellows is perfect.

It's yellow cons TO A 24. The dude I quoted said they should be a group of 20ish. 20ish is like 18-22. Not 23+. A group of "20ish" would get wrecked by level 25 mobs every pull, especially when a lot of them are wizards and clerics.
