Am I wrong in thinking that Manastone and Donal's chest is a great combo of items to have? Or does the "duration" on Donal's cancel out it's effectiveness? Never had both items to test it.

It doesn't have a duration and has a 20s cast time until velious. So yes, except manastone can only be used in old world.

In kunark and beyond it's really only useful for epic wizards and druids, especially with robe of spring

Donal's was nerfed further into Velious to place a debuff on the target so it can only get a donal's CH every 7 minutes or something. I wouldn't be surprised if that is one of the non-classic things that "slips through the cracks" and is in place from day 1 of kunark on green.

Your not wrong, clerics are one of the three manastone gods.

However nothing beats CoM Staff + Wizard epic + manastone + gate
