Wasn't wearing my glasses when I was trying to Quit, hit Delete and confirmed on accident. Can anyone save my druid named Wawazzat or am I borked? :(

Use the petition forums. It's the only way you will get a clear answer. Beware: The trolls are on their way to this thread.

Hey OP I found this, but I'm not sure what to do with it.

Hopefully GMs can restore your char via forum petition, Brell willing.

Praise be to Daniel, this is the perfect time to reroll and join the Holy Bastion of Daniels (https://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=337502).

I feel your pain. Did the exact same thing Sunday. So pist at myself. I put in a petition and started an alt class I'm very familiar and also enjoyed playing on blue incase I never get my Wiz back.

The new button locations are dangerous it seems. On p99 accidental deletions can be fixed but ive heard on blue times quoted on item/character recovery as 6 months to a year

May 1999. A small startup in New York. 10PM. We're done with work, getting ready to head home, one of the sysadmins is still at her station. I walk over, she shows me Everquest. I played UO and Wizardry, I know what's up. She shows me the characters, brief game play, and we wind up talking about the game while she has the character screen up. I ask her how come she has all these characters? She says she plays one and the others are just holding some names she's fond of. So I reach over and click delete and delete one of her name mules. She's sputtering, turning all kinds of colors, busy creating the character again to get her name back - I'm laughing "I guess that name meant a lot to you!" Oh how she hated my ass after that, but I thought as a sysadmin she should have known better. I started playing EQ two weeks later :)

GMs are usually pretty good about restoring characters/items. I accidentally left a high value item on my PoSky key corpse and I didn't realize it was missing until long after the corpse had decayed. Staff replaced my item very quickly, when just about any other MMO out there (including emu servers) would tell you tough luck, since it was totally my fault.

They will do it if you ask nicely. May take some time, especially now with new servers
