Twas a rainy night.... and Fayshot, the elvish archer and guild leader of <Archers Vow>, was aiding the gnomes in Steamfont Mountains with routine paroling. Slaying skeletons, kobolds, and the like to keep the mountains safe.

Just then, she saw a minotaur in the distance. BUT it was no normal minotaur, no....it was the legendary hero of the minotaurs!! Said to be the greatest minotaur in all the world!!!!!!

Fayshot knew what she had to do....the gnomes, every gnome, was in danger....and she was the only one who could stop it..

Luckily nearby was a druid who blessed her, and instantly she as fast as the wolves....and nothing could stop her!!! For she was a Champion of the Faydark, an archer, and they feared no minotaur... and certainly no legends.

"PREPARE YOURSELF HERO!" she shouted, and it began... she loosed an arrow from her trusty bow at the creature....

But this hero was mighty and as she shot her arrows, they would simply glance off its thick hide! What was she to do?

Then she noticed one of her arrows had pierced his skin a bit....tiny drops of blood could be seen.... it was enough. For archers know, where there is blood there is to be victory.

The minotaur continued after her with a fierce look in his eyes! Though, such looks did not bother Fayshot. She was an archer afterall, and with the wind she flew effortlessly over the mountains and hills of the steamfont.

Much time passed as the battle raged on.... arrow after arrow she drew from her quiver. 100 , 200, 300, 400.... so many arrows flew.

But Fayshot did not tire, for she was gifted with an unusual stamina, even for an elf.

She could tell at this point the minotaur was roughly half defeated from her arrows. But in the back of her mind, she realized she had a bigger problem to face. The druids blessing would not last much longer, and surely far before the minotaur was defeated in full.

So she began to shout out to the gnomes of the Steamfont for help!!! The hero was upon them, and without a druids blessing, she ran the risk of being -gasp- defeated.

Luckily another member of the <Archers Vow> was nearby in the steamfont mountains. Lartanin, working towards his own great Trueshot bow. (Level 11 ranger)

He spotted her running over a hill, by this time not just with a minotaur in tow ....but now a skeleton and kobold as well!!!

Without thought he jumped into the battle! Stabbing with his mighty dagger!!

Eventually a gnome also called out willing to aid his abilities. Great magician Tinkermaster (level 20 magician).

So Fayshot shouted she would bring the hero to the lesser Faydark entrance....and there they would finish the job.

As she ran down the road with the minotaur and Lartanin, a skeleton, and a kobold, the magician saw them and began his gnomish ritual.

Suddenly fire sprung up from the ground and a beast of flames came erupting out towards the minotaur as Fayshot ran past!!!

But the minotaur has no time for such things. He wanted Fayshot....the elf that had bled him so much with her damned arrows.

And so the battle waged on. The beast of fire, Lartanin...the minotaur....and Fayshot leading the parade.

Great mage Tinkermaster tried his best to summon bolts of flame to finish the hero....but still, he shrugged off such magics. His legendary skin unphased by spells of that power.

Eventually indeed, Fayshots spirit of the wolf began to fade....but the minotaur was still out for blood! With only a single blow he would crush the fragile elf....should ever he catch her.

But Fayshot was not too worried. For she was an Archer of the Vow.... and they were trained from a young age to run faster than normal elves can. And as her spirit of the wolf faded.....she focused her running technique and continued on... jumping into the air every now and then as she spun and fired another arrow into the minotaur.

Soon after the minotaur had had enough. He was bested....there was no stopping this elf....no stopping, an archer.

Over the body they all celebrated! They had defeated a legend!!! One that other heroes may have feared....but Fayshot, Lartanin, and Tinkermaster were cut from a different sort of cloth. One that faces danger no matter the odds.

This could happen on any server. Why would doing this on green be gamebreaking?

I was pokin fun at the other thread about stuff I did :P The deepwater harpoon.... a ranger with a bow can do a LOT more than a paladin with a harpoon.

Get this: my ranger is level 12. So now.. 1 out of 130 shots (at my dexterity) make enemy bleed a little more ;D

Haven't been able to group with him for a week so bow kiting is the only way. Its expensive

That's a lot of work. TMH is about lvl 30 iirc. An absolute unit in Steamfont. The guard that paths to the windmill can't even beat him.

Awesome. I didn't know trueshot bow was obtainable so low. Gonna need to research that one!

Green is my first ranger. Having a blast so far :)
