Monk sash quest

Tried to do white sash quest and quest giver eaten my items a couple times

You need to be Amiable with the faction, and not just Amiable, but you need to be able to have them tell you the full extent of the quest they desire. One NPC gives the White and Yellow ones, and he's upstairs between the beds -- to gain the reputation with him, you'll need to kill Orcs. Make sure you hand in unstacked, individual quest reagents. I was able to do this quest just the other day, even after he still told me he couldn't wholly trust me.
