who all count gets everybody. Only way to track the anon neck beards for the first 5 days was /who all count <#>. Unless RP behaves different from Anon, then it's all screwed up lol.

Probably login screen, which I am sitting on right now.
First day that showed everybody on login screen even though 0 were in game.

You can test /who all count all you want and you can add the numbers up and it works.
/who all 30 35 get like 2 results, who all count 30 35 it will go up , then you can do each number and math works.

/who all 15 druid shows 2 people.
/who all count 15 druid shows 5 people.
I am a 15 druid. I turned off/on anon and role, I show on the count all every time.

Perhaps there is some other pseudo random variable that counts and does not count the staff could indulge, but role/anon are for sure counted.

Like I said -- people leave login screen on, especially sitting during the day. It's not uncommon. I'll say you're right though, I've seen what happens on these forums when you are wrong about something :eek::eek::eek::):)

I just did "/ count all 30 50" and got:

And a second later did "/ all 30 50" and got:

It's easily testable and repeatable. It's people on login screen accounting for the difference between the home page count and the ingame / count all. But the command does see players who are using anon or rp.

I'll concede. I've been told this before. But there is no way to prove it other than speculation.

You can set up your own EQEmu server... it's not that difficult to set up a sandbox. Then just load up some instances at the character select screen.

Speculation? Go see for yourself. It's not speculation. You can repeat the test dozens of times to rule out the potential of all the people you're looking at logging out in the half second between your two who commands and the only (reasonable) explanation left is that count commands do see people that are hidden from regular who commands.
