It's possible to make decent play at lower levels, but things tend to get rolling at 10+. There's a reason level 4 spells only cost 5gp but the level 8/9 ones are 4pp and the 12/14 are more still.

Can confirm , rerolling first couple toons even is totally classic, in 99 I must have rerolled my first 3 characters, in the end I decided on a DE Rogue lol. In classic. Good times. I mean how many people had to reroll after dying and losing their corpse.. still very much a possibility with this night time darkness that the devs have blessed us with!
