The hype for Green is really building for me right now to the point of taking tomorrow off work (filthy casual I know), but I can't decide on a class since I suffer from extreme alt-itis.

My options are:

Warrior
Shadowknight
Rogue
Bard

I enjoy Warrior for the tanking, crits, and desirability in groups.
I haven't played a Shadowknight on P99 yet.
I enjoy Rogue damage and ability to go almost anywhere.
I enjoy the extreme utility of Bards.

I want to primarily dungeon delve (going to buy some real estate in Guk since I'm always there) and want to be able to get into groups quickly. I like tanking but have done it quite a bit. I won't be able to play consistently, so I want to play something that can get into a group quickly and be useful.

I just need someone to grab me by the shoulders, shake me, and tell me what to play.

If rogue, would Dwarf be a decent pick?

Dwarf is one of the best rogues, good STR and STA; will give you a good start up.

Oooof, this is a hell of a line-up, man. I think a Shadowknight, Rogue or Bard are great crawlers. Never really played a Warrior though.

Yeah, probably something like that.

If you want groups quickly go Rogue.

You might get stuck in a dungeon waiting if the groups have tanks already. Most groups NEVER invited another tank on blue unless their main tank was leaving soon.

You could also get stuck lfg waiting on rogue, and they can't solo either. Just something to think about.

You should make a bard backup to play if you get stuck. There's your plan B!

I feel like OP is gonna be the beefiest muscleman dwarf rogue I cant wait to see him meatballing around Lower Guk. Walking around sneaking (like you live there) looking like an NPC.

Gukboss... Well that's the name sorted!

Warrior. Rogues might have an issue this time around in Green because everyone is dead broke and might get pissed off if you pickpocket and generate back to back messages of getting caught. I'm not saying that I'm one of those players that would become upset (unless the group was in Highhold Keep) but tons of others will.

I'm in the same boat. I think I've decided on rogue, but I still really want to play a warrior or bard. I've played an SK to about 25 before and it was super fun. They're all good choices.

Rogue itemization any good? This surprises me that anyone wants to play it. I don’t remember many good piercers that early

It's a tough choice but sounds like rogue for me. Dwarf vs Barbarian though...

I am literally torn between Human Rogue and Human Ranger.

Do you want to be a master of outdoors, or more efficient party member indoors?

I would take rogue personally if group is in the middle of the zone sneak and hide will make it easiest to go anywhere and dwarf is one of the best.

Its terrible. Dragoons Dirk are basically best available dagger until planes with Eyerazzia/Bone Razor.

but you can be red, covered in the blood of your enemies https://wiki.project1999.com/Rubicite_Armor_Set

Ranger is attractive because they’re rare af, have dope looking epics and I like the Druid spells. Rogue is attractive because sneak/hide, backstabs are life, easier epic, and I generally love the archetype.

Human is the choice because eyepatch fashion and no human illusion mask.

So Dwarf is the best pick and Barbarian not so much?

Graahle

Barb is the rogue min/max choice.
