Yep, someone found in-era evidence of someone reporting that the wolf quest gives no plat, but the bear quest gives 2pp.

bonus nerf, there is no longer a spawn point that is 100% rabid wolf.

I've never done the lightstone quest, I tried to find it on the Wiki and couldn't. What was it?

It's in North Karana. The quest is called Research Aid on the wiki I believe.

Its turn in a greater lightstone for some XP and a container you can sell back for 10pp.

Ahh right, I presume that quest will be re-added when research enters the game? Is there a post where it's removal is discussed?
