It's been along time since I've played in the original classic, but my hotbar button only has 6 buttons with the default green ui. I can't seem to be able to stretch it out to show all 10 slots. Bug on my part or is it working as designed?

It's the way it is designed.

To provide a bit more information, green has been locked to a classic UI, and some features that you're probably used to have been disabled. You can't cycle through nearest npc's, duck to stop casting, see dot dmg ticks, etc.

Just pointing this out so you don't think it's a bug when you go to do a thing and you can't do that thing. :)

Honestly. I always just used /disability to trigger sense heading on almost every macro I make.

F9 will give you different 3rd person camera angles.

In classic EQ you arent supposed to play third person. First person view is preferred. use f9 to look around every now and then to make sure you dont get snuck up on.

I remember if you tried to play 3rd person it was really hard to right click to loot mobs too.

My understanding was that the devs were leaving mouse wheel 3rd person due to how shit the 16:9 implementation is.

I don’t mind either way.

I will disable it. Already did in beta. For the one reason that I kept accidentally using it and zooming out when I didn't want to . :)

alt + O for options. in mouse there is a button for mouse wheel zoom

I always played EQ first person. It seems like F9 doesn't let me see around corners any more though...

Cant duck to stop casting. Didnt even know that was a casting thing. So just wiggle around to interrupt?

Assume /stopcast doesnt work. When does duck get implemented?

Jumping can work but also not 100% reliable.
