Idea for end of Green cycle

Have Green run until Sleeper is set free. Then enable PvP (no item or coin loot) and keep the server running for 1 more month, then merge to Blue and restart clean.

Imagine that month!

Tying the server life to The Sleeper waking has been mentioned before, but I think it's a non-starter of an idea.

The staff has said that they want the server to live for a decent amount of time after Veliou's launch. But as Rampage proved, all it takes is a decent cohort of motivated people to wake the Sleeper, and Green undoubtedly will have that cohort.

I just don't see the staff allowing even the possibility of the server cutting it's lifespan short because some idiots decided as much.

Although maybe, with a sufficient "buffer" (eg. the server closes a year and half after the Sleeper wakens) it could be possible? Although that leaves open another possibility, of them being forced to keep Green around longer than they want ...

If sleeper is awakened before last patch, compete character and item wipe, no merge and green is restarted.

/ duel only happened in ec tunnel. I have fond memories of a high DPS rogue thinking he was going to dominate my ranger, only to find his zero MR meant he was snared 24/7 and had swarm dots while I shot him with arrows. Good classic goodness.
