If something existed on blue in 2 classical forms, it will probably be that way on green
If it is tagged with an era in the p99 patch notes, it almost certainly will be.

Yeah we had blackened iron for a long time on blue and red before the hyper OP blackened alloy came out.

BABS is like best item in game if it is available in vanilla.

It was available on the vanilla only Discord server because they didn't roll much back, but the guys high enough level to get in there and get it didn't want to risk the death.

The best pre-Kunark 2h slash is the Mithral 2h sword with a soulfire or a regular old blackened iron bastard sword (https://wiki.project1999.com/Blackened_Iron_Bastard_Sword) just behind it.

Both wrong, best classic sword is Razing Sword of Skarlon (https://wiki.project1999.com/Razing_Sword_of_Skarlon)... assuming you have other haste anyways. Thing is rare as fuck... I don’t know exactly how rare, but I’m guessing maybe 1-2 per month assuming 3 Skarlon kills per day?

rss is ok but that 36% haste is like impossible to come by ok I am agreeing yeah, you are right this sword with a 36% haste item would be drastically better in classic yeah.

But, yeah the sword is a relatively rare drop, and a rare to obtain raid item, and a cof is equally rare if not more, so getting both back when these were new items would be like not very easy maybe idk and though on p99 we will probably farm the crap out of these items and obtaining both of them, pre-Kunark will be of no consequence...

...but back in the day the Mithral 2h was the best to me dammit

Skarlon w/FBSS is nearly a tie with M2HS. Seahorse/CoF/RBB makes Skarlon winner.

I had Skarlon and 41% on Blue in 2010... moderately certain I was first/only toon with both, but that was probly 13 months into server, Kunark coming a helluva lot sooner this time around. But if we're counting planar items, then all bets are off...
