Best "Need to go afk a lot, but np" class(es)?

Assuming feign death classes (Monk, SK, Necro), but what else ...

I work at home (with a fam) and sometimes need to afk here and there so I don't trigger RL KoS.

My RZ main toon was Monk, so probably don't want to roll that again. Necro/SK is new to me. Any other?

Ideas?

very true hide is nice, just annoying when hide fails a coupla time in a row.

Wizard has been good for an intermittently-afk playstyle. I can use up a mana bar killing a couple mobs or a quad (2 quads at 51+), sit somewhere safe, and do whatever for a while. I sometimes set a timer. I often bind near my hunting area so I can port to WC, tip for POTG/clarity/SoW, and gate back.

Necros, though, are such capable soloers (better at soloing than monk or SK, in general), and have feign death. Not sure if you’re in a situation where you have to jump away from the computer at a moment’s notice, but if so, FD works for that. :)

Classes with no efficient solo like cleric and wizzie good you just afk while u med up at whatever spot you like.

It depends on how often you need to afk, and how quickly it needs to happen. Necro gives you the instant afk and the solo ability. Dark elf allows you to meditate while afk. That’s got to be the best. There’s a lot more flexibility depending on the frequency, duration, and urgency of your afk periods.

all wood elf have hide too so add those lol plus rogue can sneak and hide so easy afk too

A dps druid or mage would be least noticed. But you should probably play a solo class if you need to ask a lot. I suggest charter for hard mode or necro for easy mode.

I agree about hide. Pick a non-pet class and make sure you have hide. SK has FD and hide!

Extra +1 for toons that can hide and IVU.
