And I'm still going to be on green day 1, probably with an IV drip of Everclear and morphine.

Now, on to mastering the ball mouse.

he did it on purpose to get injured leave and workers comp on the eve of green.

just far enough out to heal enough to play, but just close enough to ensure he has plenty of time to play green while still on leave.

nice try, satan

So did this incident, where you were riding essentially a four wheeled hog, happen before or after you said "You have to be doing some really stupid shit to be in any real danger from a [game animal]"? :D :D :D

It's an old Banshee heavily modified for dirt track racing. Sounds pretty close to that though.

I don't know. These things don't really do shit for me. Make me feel really warm and want to go to sleep.

More like I should have shouted "train!"

Apparently the DNR guy said the deer was near death from wasting disease. Maybe he was trying to commit suicide to end his suffering.

I really know how to brighten an already depressing thread up, eh?

Hope you get better quickly and recover from that nerve damage. Maybe talk to your doctor about the keto diet. It does wonders to your head and generally to your body.

Sorry about your injuries DMN. Playing EQ on sick time is classic AF. Will you be eating any deer meat during your recovery? Hope someone took the bastage down.

I do love me the smell of burning 2-stroke....nevermind the powerband!

Keep it to the snow, more fun...less injury.

Well, I got 14 screws in the arm(can't wait to be harassed by TSA-- that's where I hide the C4 baby!*flex*), and they shaved some bone of the elbow or something to reduce pain from nerve scarring. I'm about to go out the door for the really major surgery. Should be in hospital until Monday evening. Y'all do some quality beta testing for me in my absence, thanks. Make it as classic as possible. Thanks for well wishes who wished them.

In my experience (got some pins and plates and such in my wrist/arm) TSA is used to such things, as they see a million of them a day and have good technology for their scanners.

The annoying times are when you go to an amusement park or somewhere and they have those hand scanners being operated by morons barely being paid above minimum wage. Those are the times that you wind up standing there for ten minutes going "look, I swear to fucking god, there is nothing up my damn sleeve, it's my arm!" ;)

But in any case, best of luck in the surgery and recovery.

The newer hardware are metals such as titanium that don't trigger anything. I was disappointed the first time I went through TSA with mine this year.
