Don't do this to us!

(Plus if you open it earlier in the day it might help cut down on some of the overcrowding on Friday evening if some people have had a chance to get a few levels in and move away from the newbie zones...see, I can make a logical argument for this too!)

Yeah I think opening earlier than expected without notice might help.

Tactically, that's a good idea -

If opened at the announced time, there will be a vast flood of login attempts which may swamp the system. If opened LATE, it would be even worse.

But if the server is opened early, then only a few will see it initially, and the early birds will simply login.

By the time of the announced opening the login system will be up and running, maybe some adjustments made.

Meanwhile, I will be level 2 already !
