I understand when you know where to look it seems simple, but honestly getting setup is much harder than it should be.

Simply put, the forum tab does not have the getting started thread. I'm looking around not even noticing the home tab wondering why getting into the game even requires multiple registrations. This is just a rant, but seriously the game can be 1999 but a modern layout and intelligent sizing of top priority links is worth considering.

What makes it a lot harder is the lack of simple and easy to understand step by step instructions to get p99 setup.

I genuinely believed if i didn't sharpen my fine steel sword it would stop being fine steel, then tarnish, then rust.

No one disabused me of this motion.

Tldr i destroyed my fine steel short i spent 10pp on by trying to combine it in a forge with a sharpening stone.

Luckily this would never happen on p1999 as the carebare CSR have disabled items being destroyed by non-recipe combine attempts.
